💥💥Trippel Bonanza Friday - listen to fresh new music 💥💥

Pre-order Karl Bjorå Trio 'The Essence' + Kristian Enkerud Lien's KRISE 'Apt Opt Kroma' (both albums will be out next Friday Nov 21), and go see Dykdypp live at Folken in Stavanger (15.11) and Bergen Kjøtt (16.11) - new album out 'Huggutullin' last Friday🔥

"The music often sets off in different directions and somehow reaches the same door – then, when locked in cohesion, gleefully disperses on parallel adventures before reuniting as if there were never another choice. Manic, not angry: curiosity at a sprint. When the tape ghosts clear, the shape stands there – lean, a little singed, unmistakably a tune. File it left of free, right of rock: design-forward, road-tested, splinters included – hard-bop Looney Tunes for the post-consensus hangover." by @dykdypp

💥 Out now: DYKDYPP – HUGGUTULLINN 💥

DYKDYPP is a young, genre-defying force from Norway, blending the freedom of jazz with the grit of rock and the wild pulse of folk-inspired prog. Despite their youth and ongoing jazz studies in Bergen and Trondheim, the band already plays with the confidence and chemistry of seasoned collaborators.

What might at first appear as a chaotic mix – of personalities, sounds, and temperaments – is transformed into a dynamic and playful unity through their fearless, high-voltage expression. On Huggutullinn, the only thing more rock’n’roll than the electric guitar is the saxophone.

Expect sweat, joy, and pure energy — and don’t be surprised if you find your neck, tapping foot, and smile muscles sore after a DYKDYPP show.

Recorded, mixed, and mastered by Jo Ranheim, Kyrre Laastad, and Karl Klaseie at Øra Studios.

Photography by Eva Hovem Gjelsvik.
Cover art and layout by Erlend Wik.

Åsne Ausen Fossmark – tenor saxophone
Arin Myklebost Gran – guitar
Selma Sophie Tudor Edwards Granly – cello, vocals
Johannes Wilhelm Burns Lykkås – double bass
Linus Hanem Solvang – drums by @dykdypp
