A month ago I married the man that I always pray for, a man who will take care of me with all his heart and who will be the purest reflection of God’s love. There’s no word to describe the joy and excitement of that day. It still feels like it happened last week. God taught me at the wedding that His ways are always superior to my own. We got a storm and thunder, and I was like, “Why God?” I wanted a sunset! But Jesus showed us that day that in the middle of the storm He is still there, His unconditional love was with us in that pure moment of becoming one, and that no matter what storm we face, His love will help us make it through it in life. My mom and my wonderful friend Lisa told me that day is like, “If you can pass this storm, you will get through any storm that will come in your marriage.” I am not lying; it felt like a movie, and I would never change it. God really wanted to teach me a forever lesson and memory because He always knows what we need.
