My dad passed away at 1pm yesterday, January 24th. Just 5 days after his 54th birthday. He was the most amazing, hardworking, badass guy I have ever known. He made everyone smile and feel welcomed in his presence. He would always put other first and has the patience like nobody I’ve ever seen. While cancer took a toll on my dad, he never lost the smile and no matter how he felt that day he would always have energy to love and support us. We made so many great memories together and he showed up for me more than anyone else has. He is the man I aspire to be. I love you dad, one day I will see you again, but until then I will miss you more than you know and make you proud from heaven. Thank you for being the best dad ever.

Thank you to all the nurses, friends, and family who have prayed for and helped my dad and my family throughout this past year. We are forever grateful. Finally thank you to my mom. She was there every second right by my dad’s side through every procedure, chemo, medication, bad day, or good day. I am so grateful to have a role model like you in my life.
