Nieuw werk voor @slimpienl 😋 Voor het 25-jarig bestaan van Slimpie maakten we een brandfilm over de keuzes die je als ouder elke dag maakt. Helpen of even afwachten. Nog even vasthouden. Of toch loslaten. Juist die herkenning wilden we vangen. De liefde, de twijfel en de humor van een gezinsleven dat zich zelden aan je plannen houdt. It’s finally out!
One of the most beautiful projects I’ve worked on—directed by my dear friend @sophieebrard ,who asked me to edit this beast of a shoot on the spot in London. Merci Luckily, I got to bring an “assistant”—who turned out to be an incredibly dedicated and professional senior editor, and who became a close friend and true sparring partner. Remote editing in the hotel, train, airplane, shed, attic, cellar, bar, lobby but we did everything together. To many more good edits and meals! All the craziness aside, the real value of this project lies in the personal stories shared by the amazing cast. The vulnerable stories they told, combined with the mesmerizing shots produced by an amazing team and the experience of shaping it all in the edit, made this job feel deeply rewarding.

MediaMarkt is celebrating its anniversary. For 25 years, the electronics store has played a significant role in the lives of the Dutch, providing the latest tech. To celebrate, we had the pleasure of producing the commercial for their anniversary campaign together with our director @ivan.boljat. Ivan: “Even though @mediamarktnl is all about gadgets, I wanted to create a film that puts people first. By visually capturing Dutch culture, I aimed to make something that resonates with many. It was so much fun weaving nostalgic references into the film and creating a visual flow that tied all the decades together.
