Stolen bike alert!!!

UPDATE
The Ritchey has been spotted but painted black. Brooks swift saddle is gone but the logic crank should stand out. Still has the @faunacomponents cages on the (now black) fork.

Victoria pals…
Just found someone got into my van and made off with two bikes.
Ritchey p-29. Easy to spot. Purple surly fork, bags, mounts, and a repair to chain stays. 29 front 27.5 rear. SRAM xo. Gold cassette (sigh)

Seeing @frozenbushings posting Josh’s 5050 about the black double set reminded me that I wanted to dig these out for you.

The one(s) that got away…

Just throwing in my two bits to contribute to @frozenbushings recent deep dive on that big black sssslippery double set down by waterfront station in vancouver.

Here are two photos of @ryandecenzo mid frontside flip. The first by me and the second by the fantastically talented @kyleashura .
I suppose this could open up a huge conversation about the ethics of publishing unlanded tricks and photographer/skater loyalty but I’ll leave all that to the slap message board (if that’s even still a thing).
Anyhoo… @briancaissie clearly was there on the right day.

Maybe it would have been cool if we were all there at the same time. Although I definitely would have been hollering at brian to get out of my shot.

*UPDATE

As adam and ryan (decenzo) have both correctly pointed out, Kyle’s photo is of @ryan_smith_vernon, which sort of shifts the whole conversation into talking about great photos that never see the light of day. Had ryan smith landed his attempt, neither my nor brains photo would likely have existed. Had Brian not been there the day ryan (d) landed his attempt, chances are some of you may have seen my photo grace the pages of @colormagazine or maybe even a @reddragonskateboards ad.
