9 years of my life came to a close a few weeks ago and I’ve been putting off making this post because once I do it’s officially over. I met so many people and made so many friends because I had this strange ability to throw a stick farther than most people. Thank you to my parents who supported me since the first day I came home from track practice freshman year of high school. Thank you @southalabamatxc for letting me throw at the D1 level, thank you @hannamvaikla for teaching me how to properly throw a javelin in a straight line and not giving up on me on the days I wanted to give up on the sport, and thank you @justinlowe33 for showing me the proper technique on how to lift heavy circles in the weight room. I didn’t like the thought of not being on a team anymore since I had been on a team of some kind since I was three years old but I guess it’s time to grow up. taken in USA by @dylanhale66_16
