Bridge Into the Industry is about more than training—it’s about creating.

For their final project with @dylankodai , our dancers choreographed themselves, developed their own costume concepts, and directed every camera movement from start to finish.

@vmodance you have my heart always. From dancing in parking lots through my college years to competing on international stages, this team has been something that I continue to pour my soul into, regardless of what chapter of life I am in. Throughout the past 8 years, V Mo transmutes into the life line that I need to express my creativity & love for those in my community. Thank you to everyone who have ever been a part of my spaces & continues to rep the peace sign with pride. 😈✌🏽

@_kylestubbs managed to capture the essence of what it is like to be in the space with me through the ups & downs, as well as the joy that comes from seeing the vision come to life through this BTS footage. Creative directing & dancing at the same time proved to be stressful on many levels, but this is exactly what I want to do, & seeing this video come together shows me that I can & will do it. 🙏🏽

Late Childhood worked really closely with @danyelmoulton on this project from the specific shots/angles that we were exploring with & the different lighting cues to make this project unique, powerful & also challenging to push all of us to the next level.

This project definitely pushed my knowledge with cinematography & what I’m cable to do with that. I’m grateful for Danyel putting that on the table for me & letting me put my *camera eye* sauce on it. Her trusting me with this project, how I personally see things when it comes to cinematography put trust in myself knowing that I can really do this shit. So thank you Danyel for that.

To my guy @chaseoki with the lighting direction, I definitely couldn’t do it without this guy & honestly he makes me look good so thank you brotha. this project wouldn’t be what it is and the outcome it is without this guy being a legend with all the creative lighting sauce. love ya brotha

For my @latechildhood team I f*%#ing love yall. Thankful to my co-founder @brandonlaymanfilms going crazy with the edit/color, our amazing producer @brittneyhklee tackling everything for a smooth shoot. [“Dancing Circles” Dance Visual]

This short was filmed back in February & now it’s finally here for y’all to enjoy. Life has been life-ing this year which pushed back this project but we finally took the time to really dive deep into this project (post production with my right hand man @brandonlaymanfilms). I think it’s great seeing this project come to life now. It has given me the chance to really reflect on this year of many ups & downs that i’m grateful for. Having my team behind me is just an amazing feeling to have & couldn’t do it without them. This gets me excited for the new year and what we’re about to bring. It’s gonna be crazy but for now we hope you enjoy this small production & we’ll see yall in 2025! #latechildhood
