Attendre le temps qu'il faut pour développer une pellicule argentique et voir que l'on a foirer la photo, ici 1 an, garder cette surprise des photos prises. Oubliez l'instant pour savourer le moment du développement photographique.

Wait as long as it takes to develop a roll of film and discover that you’ve messed up the photo—in this case, a year—and savor that element of surprise with the photos you’ve taken. Forget about the moment itself and savor the experience of developing the photos.

I've been playing in bands for about 20 years. Recently I have had this itch to find something else that could keep be involved in the music scene just in case I found myself bandless or I couldn't play anymore. I started doing a bit of graphic design and making flyers for bands from time to time which helped but didn't quite scratch the itch.

Last summer while in tour, I got this idea that I couldn't get out of my head. That thought was starting my own merch company. I've managed my own bands merch and have met a ton of people throughout the years that can help me make this possible.

I finally decided to pull the trigger and make it reality. I've spent the last few months recruiting bands, building my website and dialing in the operations.

I am proud to announce that this week I launched @plasticmerchco.

If you're in a band and want to talk about how I can help you and your merch game out, hit me up.

It would mean the world to me if you could go click the link in my bio and check out the new website. by @dylanmcawesome

We hope you dig our cover of the Distillers! It was fun to cover a female singer's voice! Guitars and vocals tracked at Smoke in a Tree Studio with Andy Cavanaugh. Mixed by Davi Pacote at Hill Valley Studios. Video Edit by Greg Gleason. Additional support from Felony Ron

Say hello and welcome our newest member, Mario J. Rivera! A seasoned musician, songwriter, and creative out of the Albuquerque and San Diego scenes. Mario’s been with Urethane since day one. He’s the guy behind the camera, directing and editing our music videos. He’s also a longtime friend of the band. When he’s not making music, he’s skating, surfing, designing, making videos, and doing rad shit! We can’t wait for everyone to hear the new music we’ve been working on together. Total bangers! Catch his first show with us at Tower Bar on February 15th! taken in San Diego, California by @dylanmcawesome

Thank you to everyone who called, texted, or sent a message for my birthday. It really meant a lot and I appreciate all the love.

I never really sat down to reflect on 2025. It was a year of highs and lows, growth, loss, music, family, and a lot of learning. Work was intense and I transitioned into a GM role leading a 9 person team. We finished the year with our strongest quarter and best December since 2022 and I am grateful to be progressing in my career when so many are struggling.

Urethane had a wild year too with amazing shows, Europe, music releases, unforgettable moments, and tough changes. Paige and I had incredible travels, and also went through heartbreak saying goodbye to Penny. We welcomed Frankie Moon who has challenged us and also filled our home with joy.

On a personal level, I did a lot of work on myself. I finally got ADHD medication and it has been life changing, but I still have to work every day on mental health, discipline, self awareness, and being kind to myself. I learned that self advocacy matters. I learned that nutrition, sleep, exercise, and honesty with myself make a difference. I learned that I am not alone and that talking about these things matters.

I am optimistic for 2026. I am building strength, facing the hard things, and trying to live to my full potential. I want more music, more movement, more family time, more honesty, more love, big emotions, and meaningful growth.

We only get one shot at this life. There is so much we cannot control but there is so much that we can. My hope is that we all focus on the positive, do the work, become our best selves, and shine bright enough that the people who need us can find us.

Here is to another year of growth, love, courage, and whatever comes next. by @dylanmcawesome
