It’s insane how much can happen in a week.

I never imagined that this is how my graduation would go, let alone have the chance to spend a week at the beach with my friends. Even as I’m writing this, I struggle to put into words how incredible and beautiful this week was.

I got to walk the stage, have fun nights out and days on the beach, worked through countless arguments, drove a jet ski, and survived multiple 3-hour car-rides. Now that it’s all said and done, I feel like I came out of this week a better person.

None of it was easy, yet the fun I had and the people I was surrounded with made it all worthwhile. Prayers to all my friends and family who’ve supported me these last 18 years and I can’t wait for this final summer of childhood.

This is a perfect summary of my time in XC.

When I first joined this team, I never thought I would get this fast or make the friends that I did. 4 years later, this has been one of the most amazing experiences of my life. I can’t fully express the joy this team has brought to my life.

I’d love to thank my friends, family, and God: the ones who always supported me and pushed me to be the best version of myself, both as an athlete and an individual. Without them, none of this would’ve been possible.

I pray that all the underclassmen go on to have amazing future seasons. As for us seniors, I pray we can all look back on the past few years and remember to not be sad that it’s over, but to be glad that we did it.
