How I got ADDICTED to LOAN APPS and didn't even know it. (1/5)

I had never touched a loan app in my life before this day and I did it because someone was in need and I had nothing to give.

So I found a way. However, what happened next changed my relationship with money for years.

This is a five part series and I am sharing it because I know I am not the only one. Loan apps in Nigeria are everywhere and nobody is talking honestly about what they can do to your finances when you are not careful.

Follow this series. Episode 2 is coming and that is where it gets real.

Drop a comment below if you're following these series, please no judgment here. Thank you.

I made and lost 200k from my business this Q1.

And what I've learned from this is that I need to be more financial responsible and accountable so that I end up going broke again.

And in case you might think why I'm sharing this, I know this is not what people like to share, but I'm sharing this because one thing I learnt from @_themediagirl was that my journey is a story people want to hear and learn from.

And that is why I'm sharing this with you. This was my Q1 mistake, and I've learned a lesson for Q2.

Do you have any financial mistakes you've made this year? Let us know in the comment section.

Happy New Month my people.

Love You,
Sincerely, Chisom.

I have no comments until you've seen this video.

But for my first time shopping from Temu, I'd give them a 7/10. Don't even get me started on the delivery company they used which was super annoying by the way but then I'd drop my reviews in the comments incase you're planning to get anyone.

PS: I tried returning one item but it's telling me to send it to ibadan and all that... Just gave up on that.

And that's a wrap for my birthday presents this year... See you next time next year. 💕

Love you,
Sincerely, Chisom.

At this point, if I don't ask for help.... I dey do myself.

I have a budget I'm working with and I need to setup my space and also get lovely things from Temu... But they want to keep me with price.

How do you all get it for lesser prices? Please help a girl in need. 😘

Happy birthday to me... I'd be saving this up as I'd revisit it in a year time to see how much I've achieved.

God willing, I achieve all and more.

Happy birthday to me once again.

Someone called me 'Stingy' and it taught me a great lesson.

Ah!! It pained me o, but I learnt quickly that once people know how kindhearted you are, they'll want to milk you dry until you wise up.

Now eh, I'm ready to be called stingy o. Stingy Koko, akagum.. anything you call me... I agree o because I don't have anyone to run to when I hit red too.

Has something like this happened to you before? How did you handle it?
