Tonight was a successful BAND BANQUET!
Trophies! Certificates and medals! 5 years such a long way! On today I’ve made a serious decision that was more so about the community and nothing to do with me! This was decided based on new policy changes…

As you know we started a band program for Kipp 5 years ago! After long nights and weekends of just HARD WORK in this community. We started to create a movement that was moving faster then what many expected it to because of lack of knowledge on HBCU marching experiences.
Thank you BOLD Academy for helping for the years you have! Looking forward to building up this drum line and flag corps!

Well with that being said…. KDMB is now an entity of The Gullified Throttle Connection Visual and Performing Arts Inc.

Sometimes in life you have to retire from roles and positions in order to make a bigger IMPACT.

We need to save our kids from these streets!!!! All of our kids not just the ones we are instructed to watch.

Since 2021 we’ve sent 6-7 scholars to college making 3 now attending Delaware State 1 at Howard University and 1 who is attending an Arts School in New York City! 1 off to start her career in Cosmetology!
Bro BAND CHANGE LIVES!
Enrichment will forever matter!!!!

Although the Drum line still lives on along with our Flag line we now have TWO PROGRAMS that are still building and growing!
One at BOLD ACADEMY and One ABOUT to prepare to SHAKE THE COMMUNITY WITH SOUND AND PURPOSE!

Prepare for what is ahead!!!!
WE HAVE MORE WORK TO DO!!!!!
Band camp details are coming soon….
Stay posted!

Congratulations to Mr. Nick @r_dbl_o on his membership into Kappa Kappa Psi National Honorary Band Fraternity Inc. We are extremely proud of you and all of the work you’ve placed in building up and being a leader in ALL you do! Thank you for being a mentor to our youth of GTC leading by example. #ServiceMatters #Mentoringmatters #letscontinuetobuildtheconnection. Y’all show Mr. Nick some love! by @dynamicmb_21

Check out our new calendar for this spring more dates will be added as we go! This year feels different! A lot of changes, adjustments, collaborations and more COMMUNITY WORK! Our entire purpose is to SERVE! Some bands move… but some bands hold the line.

While others were waiting, watching, and wondering… we became the anchor. ⚓️

An anchor doesn’t drift with the waves.
It holds steady in the storm, keeps the ship grounded, and reminds everyone where strength lives.

The wait is over.
The foundation is set.
And when the drums sound, you’ll understand why we stayed ready.

We didn’t fold.
We didn’t break.
We are prepared to HOLD IT DOWN!

⚓️ The Anchor Has Dropped.

The Dynamic Marching Band is making their way to a city near you this season! 🥁🔥

We’re bringing pride, joy, discipline, and real connection with our community to a whole different level. Every rehearsal, every step, and every beat is about pouring back into the people who support us and the youth we serve.

This year our biggest focus is community, impact, and excellence — and trust us, you’re going to feel it when the drums hit the street.

We can’t wait to see you all at the upcoming parades. When you hear the sound… just know KDMB is in the building!
