HOKA MIDNIGHT RUN ASIA

Originally meant as a PR attempt then eventually became an LSD with a bit of threshold for the final 5 km

It was a slow but a fun and injury - free run and it felt really good to finish strong!

❌ New PR
✅ New friends

We did not target a PR today; we targeted new friends 😍 So grateful to have joined these amazing people—celebrating together after the rain, enjoying ice cream, exploring the race village, and talking about random things.

While we may run at different paces, we share a common goal: to truly enjoy the race and know that there’s someone waiting at the finish line.

We are no longer solo runners 👌🏻🏃.

p.s. Nakakatuwa na we have different backgrounds, from the places we live to the professions we pursue. Na para bang mga napili na papasok ng reality show 😂

REV MAKATI TRI CITY HALF MARATHON

Goal time - 1:54:50
Actual time - 2:17:15

A very humbling experience indeed. From my first half marathon with a chip time of 1:58:57 to iwas DNF HAHAHAHAHA

A lot of reasons may be considered as to why i failed to break my PR but one thing’s for sure and that is lack of training

Got sick and injured for a total of almost 4 weeks (during peak week) and tried out new things during my training block which led to my demise HAHAHAHA
