From The Breuer uptown, Independent heads back downtown this week for another edition of Downtown Dealers with @racheluffner in conversation with Independent founder Elizabeth Dee (@e.dee.art).

Join us on Wednesday, September 30, 6:30 pm at @uffnerliu for the return of our live conversation series uniting New York art dealers across generations to share their approaches and experiences.

Rachel Uffner founded Rachel Uffner Gallery in NYC’s Lower East Side in 2008. In 2025, Rachel Uffner partnered with Lucy Liu and the name of the gallery changed to Uffner & Liu. Over the past 18 years, the gallery has established itself as a vital platform for introducing new artistic voices, championing female-identifying artists, and cultivating institutional relationships.
