Moved to LA a week ago. First shoot in the books. What is my life??

Had the absolute pleasure of photographing @bran_flakezz and his collab with @croftalley in Beverly Hills.

I’ve spent so much time imagining what building a creative life here might look like, so getting to walk into a room full of people creating, connecting, and doing the kind of work I want to be around felt a little surreal. 🤯

When you get married in an art museum, you become part of the collection.

Earlier this year, these two celebrated their marriage at a palace in India. On Sunday, they did it all over again at the Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts—this time weaving pieces of both worlds into one really beautiful day.

A sari alongside a tux. Indian music filling the museum. Western traditions meeting the ones they celebrated with months before. Nothing felt like it was competing for space—it all just felt like them.

Photographing a wedding inside an art museum, I couldn’t help but approach the day a little differently. I wanted the photographs to feel like they belonged there. To play with light and shadow, shape and movement, and make Arushi + Kurt feel like part of the art themselves.

And my god, did they make that easy.

What a special day to witness—and an absolute dream to photograph. 🤍
