Story time/appreciation post. My kindergarteners love @brethelton. They prayed for him every single day during Bible class. After hearing those prayers all year, I decided to have them write them down in a prayer journal. I knew I would have the chance to meet Bret Helton in Nashville, and I wanted to share something really special with him.

He has taken time throughout the year to send countless videos back—encouraging my class, making them laugh, and challenging them in such a meaningful way.

Bret, you are truly amazing, and I’m so grateful my students have someone like you to look up to. Maybe one day things will work out and you’ll get to surprise them in person at our school. I hope you’ve enjoyed your prayer journal, and I’m excited for the possibility of continuing this classroom connection for this upcoming school year and many more to come. by @e.hershey89

I started our @thepartyanimals classroom journey last year, and I never imagined the impact it would have. Every single one of the guys has been incredible, but @tellier_nate has stood out time and time again. He has always come through for my class and gone above and beyond more times than I can count. No one makes my kindergarteners laugh like he does. He even remembered the dinosaur and asked if he could make them another video. That kind of kindness means more than he probably realizes and says so much about the person he is. There will never be enough thank-yous for the joy he’s brought into my classroom. I’m so glad I finally got to meet you in person. Thank you for making such a difference in the lives of my students—and in mine. You’re truly one of a kind, and I’m so incredibly grateful for you.

It started with one kindergarten student saying, “If Telly comes to school, I’m going to play dinosaurs with him.” 🦖

Now I bring Telly a dinosaur to every game. 😂

Friday: “Bring it tomorrow!”
Saturday: “Oh nooo… I forgot it in my bag.” 😂🦖

Seeing Bret pitch in person is one of my all-time favorite things. He’s not only an incredible pitcher, but an even more incredible person. ❤️ Getting to watch him record his 200th strikeout tonight was the perfect way to end my Party Animals season. 🥹 by @e.hershey89

I hope you know just how much joy you’ve brought into our little corner of the world. What started as a kindergarten class watching Party Animals videos somehow turned into my students cheering you on, praying for you, and genuinely caring about you—and I’m so thankful for it. 🥹

Thank you for always being so generous with your time, your encouragement, and your ridiculously fun personality. You’ve made so many ordinary days a little brighter, and you’ve given my students someone they can look up to and cheer for.

I hope this next year brings you as much happiness as you’ve given to so many others. You deserve it! 💚

I’ve never been good at asking for help, but I’m learning that sometimes letting people be part of the journey is a gift too. 🩷💚
This year I’m getting ready to welcome a new team of little @thepartyanimals into our classroom! ⚾️🎉 My goal is to create a space where my students feel loved, encouraged, and excited to learn every single day.
I put together a classroom wishlist for anyone who feels led to help us make our classroom extra special. There is absolutely no pressure — prayers, encouragement, and cheering on our little team mean just as much.
