HART Magazine - Issue 5

One from the archive.

Cover artwork & digital editing I created for @hart.magazine Issue 5, featuring @isshehungry

HART described my work at the time as “a marriage of futurism and grotesk organic imagery” - looking back, that feels pretty accurate.

Distorted bodies, synthetic textures, beauty, fashion and something slightly unsettling. A lot of the visual language that still defines Erased Memories today was already there.

Back in 2020, I had the opportunity to create the cover artwork and visual identity for @ellen.allien album “Auraa”, released via @bpitch.berlin

I also created music videos and visuals for almost every track on the album, building an entire visual world around Auraa.
From digital artwork and moving images to the final physical object, this project became a pretty complete expression of what I want to do as Erased Memories.
My work has never been about following a certain aesthetic or reproducing what already exists. I want every project to feel like a one-of-a-kind gem. Strange & precious.
Something you couldn’t simply replace with another artist’s work.
Erased Memories is about delivering visuals with their own DNA.
Human, alien, beautiful, uncomfortable, organic, synthetic.

Sometimes all at once.

Six years later, holding the vinyl in my hands still feels special. by @e.memories

DANCE & KILL

Vinyl & digital artwork I created for @ash_code x @ellen.allien - “Dance & Kill” EP, released on June 30, 2023 via @bpitch.berlin

As a huge Dark Wave fan, this one felt especially close to home. Ash Code’s sound lives right in that world I’ve always been drawn to - dark, hypnotic, melancholic and made for the night.

Always a pleasure bringing these darker ideas into the physical world, and even better seeing them pressed on vinyl.

RAVE LUV 💜

Cover artwork I created for @ellen.allien “Rave Luv” EP, released via @bpitch.berlin in 2024.

Always something special to see digital artwork becoming a physical object, especially when it ends up looking like this.

For Rave Luv I wanted to create something raw, distorted & emotional. Somewhere between intimacy, rave culture and digital decay.

The beautiful transparent / blue splatter vinyl makes the whole thing even better.

Still one of my favorite physical releases I’ve worked on. 🖤 by @e.memories

This stunning visual was created by @e.memories (Marcel C. Wilkens) for our single The Influencer Accent.

We venture into the world of Manrira – a dark, alluring, female presence disrupting those who seek or hoard power. Where organic and digital elements merge, they invite you to pause, listen, and rethink your surroundings.

LAYERS XXXXX

The symptoms are real | a habit of unnatural behavior within a system that was formed by individuals from the past not knowing what will come in the future.

But acceptance is the key to inner rest - adapting & restructure within that spectrum.
