Since October 2024, this vision has been in my hands, and now it’s becoming a reality. @palmspringsswimshow There were so many moments when I took a few steps back, questioned the timing, and wondered if I was ready. But sometimes you have to stop waiting for the “perfect” moment and just pull the trigger.

Thank you all for the support and love. ❤️🇸🇸 I’m truly grateful, and I’m so excited as we prepare for our 1st ever @missuniverse.southsudan 👑

Our first representative will be appointed, and on the same day, we will open applications for women interested in competing for the 2027 Miss Universe South Sudan title. The competition will be held in Juba, South Sudan.

To all of the South Sudanese women who have been reaching out, sharing your stories, and telling me why you want to represent South Sudan at Miss Universe — thank you. ❤️ I’m excited to hear from all of you, and I will respond to everyone shortly.

I once dreamed of walking on the @missuniverse stage myself, but God had other plans for me. Instead, He gave me the opportunity to help usher our women onto that stage. 🇸🇸👑

I’m looking for women who are not only beautiful, but who have a mission beyond themselves and the crown — women with purpose, drive, kindness, ambition, and a heart ready to serve and make an impact.

I’m incredibly excited to announce that I secured the Miss Universe South Sudan franchise and I will be the National Director 🇸🇸✨

A full-circle moment; I came to the United States at 12 years old, unable to read or write in any language and speaking only Arabic. Finding my voice, and building my own path from the ground up, I am now taking everything I’ve learned back home to South Sudan.

From representing South Sudan internationally as Miss Grand South Sudan in 2017, to founding San Diego Swim Week and now Palm Springs Swim Show, as well as working behind the scenes to develop national and international titleholders, I’ve dedicated my career to creating platforms for women to be seen, heard, and celebrated. Now, I’m honored to be that bridge for the next generation of South Sudanese women.

Many women from South Sudan have already made their mark in the fashion industry and model around the world. My vision is to bring that talent, culture, and beauty to the Miss Universe stage.

With pride, grace, and determination, South Sudan is making history by participating for the very first time in the 75th edition of @missuniverse in Puerto Rico.
