Africa, it’s your time. 🌍

The next two stops on the UIM E1 World Championship calendar belong to Africa.

First, the championship heads to Luanda, Angola (12–13 September), as the continent welcomes its second E1 race.

Then, it’s back to Lagos, Nigeria (3–4 October)—the city that made history as the first African host of the E1 World Championship.

Two cities. One continent. One shared vision for innovation, sustainability, and world-class racing.

As we cheer on Luanda, we look forward to welcoming the championship back to Lagos for another unforgettable weekend on the water.

A new chapter begins for Africa in the UIM E1 World Championship. 🌍

Team PRONC has officially joined the championship and will make its debut in the 2027 season.

Backed by Nigerian entrepreneurs and investors—Cecil Hammond, Richie Shittu, Preye Berezi, Osahon Okunbo and Ndy Oruche—the team represents a bold step forward for African excellence in global motorsport.

Their arrival is more than the launch of a new team. It reflects Africa’s growing role in shaping the future of innovation, sustainability and electric racing on the world stage.
