18 Teams. 1 Winner. 🏆

@goalsleicester x Lucozade Heat Champions. 🖤💛

✅ Unbeaten throughout the tournament
✅ Only 3 goals conceded all tournament
✅ Qualified for the Leeds Regionals

The campaign started with a strong group-stage performance, finishing top of the table with 4 wins and 1 draw.

In the quarter-finals, Rahulji’s hat-trick led us to a 3-1 victory over a talented Albanian side, 🔥

The semi-final was a battle. A huge double save from Ghumra kept us in the game before Alis’s goal secured a hard-fought 1-0 win and our place in the final. 🧤⚽

With the trophy on the line, the boys delivered one last time, producing a dominant performance to beat a strong @jrtwinsfc 3-0 and be crowned Champions. 🏆

The job isn’t finished yet.

Leeds, we’re coming. 📍

Big up our sponsors @kit.szn @prominencecarhire

Heartbreak at the @goalsfootballofficial Nationals, but incredibly proud to have finished amongst the top 16 teams in the country out of 800+ teams.

From progressing through the Leicester heats to battling through the Leeds Regionals, every step of the journey was earned. We’re incredibly proud of what we’ve achieved to reach our first National Finals.

Of course, we always want more.

At this level, every decision counts, every mistake gets punished and every second matters. Our inexperience showed in certain moments, but those lessons will only make us stronger. We’ll take everything we’ve learned and come back even better.

A massive thank you to all the lads who gave everything throughout the campaign, and a huge mention to all the boys who came to support us and follow us on our journey across the country. Your backing never goes unnoticed, and without you none of this would be possible.

Thank you to our sponsors @kit.szn @prominencecarhire

Thank you to @bzimedia for the pictures📸

And thank you to everyone who continues to support our journey.

NATIONAL FINALS HERE WE COME!
After winning the club heats in Leicester the boys took a trip down to Leeds for the Regional heats…

In a strong group once again we went undefeated, winning three games and drawing one. It was then onto the round of 16… a game of fine margins meant we went onto penalties. An outstanding performance from the man between the sticks meant we secured our place in the quarter finals.

Another close game having finished 1-1 meant onto penalties we went again. Carrying confidence from the last round, our number 1 was a man possessed between the sticks, having denied the opposition then burying his own penalty.

Scenes all around as not only did we proceed to the semi finals but this also meant we qualified to the nationals having finished in the top 4 teams.

Having taken the lead in the semi finals we conceded a late penalty which the opposition finished precisely meaning once again onto penalties we went…

Third time lucky? Unfortunately not… having gone to sudden death, fine margins meant we bowed out but with our heads held high.

Having not lost a single match in normal time over two entire tournaments goes to show the hard work the lads have put in to get this far!

The journey is far from over…
18th July we travel to London for the National Finals where the boys will battle it out with the best in the country for a shot at £25,000 💰

All support is welcome, LONDON HERE WE COME!

Group Stage Highlights. 📽️🔥

5 games. 4 wins. 1 draw. 💪

An unbeaten start that set the tone for the rest of the tournament. Clinical in front of goal, solid at the back, and every player putting in a shift as we topped the group and booked our place in the knockout stages.

This was only the beginning… 🖤💛

Who stood out for you in the groups? 👀

Best double save you’ve seen? 👀🧤

1-0 up in the dying minutes of the Lucozade Goals Semi-Final and somehow @mohammedghumra kept it out twice to send us through. 😮‍💨🔥
