I’ve been thinking a lot about this past year in the final days before my 22nd year around the sun and I just feel so whole!!!!

This past year has been nothing short of uncomfortable growth, learning so much more about myself, and pushing myself to be my best. I’ve spent the better part of the last year in and out of hospitals, doctor’s appointments, and therapy sessions. I’ve cried so much in my bed that there has to be a stain where my tears have fallen!! My partner has seen the worst of me and has held me tightly through it all (I love you, Mikey.)

Nevertheless, I felt like I drained myself of all the tears possible in the world, slowly picked myself back up piece by piece, and started working harder than I had ever worked before. Not only on myself, but on my dreams and what I’ve wanted my whole life. I am certain enough to say now that after the twists-and-turns of the last year, I graduated early, secured my first post-grad media job, and have learned to hold more kindness towards myself and every soul around me than I ever have in the 20 years prior.

Instead of constant noise and dissaray, I can only hear the birds chirping now. The thunderstorm has come and gone :’)

Ariana has been one of my role models for as long as I’ve known what music was. She is one of the reasons I am fearless to try to make it in this industry and I am just still in shock that I was able to see her and so undoubtedly proud!!!!!!
