#FlashBackFriday 5 years ago: She didn’t know it yet, but God was about to take her through a season that will break her and build her, opening doors to stores, media features, and careers she never imagined, all while refining her by fire.
I’m THORO because I didn’t wait to be whole to start building. While God was putting me together piece by piece, He trusted me to plant seeds in others. I’m THORO because in the refining process, I created spaces and resources for others to live, grow, and believe again, while solely depending on God to guide my every step.
When I look at these pictures, I see the starting point of a woman who had no idea what God was building. Whatever it was, it created a beautiful journey. And that gives me the strength to keep becoming who He called me to be.

@wearejaxkids hosted our first annual Fathers Walk at AXL Academy. Walking in purpose is so fulfilling. Today I realized that retail is cool but being in the community, bringing smiles to the fathers and their children is where my heart is and has always been.
