💡Good lighting really does change EVERYTHING.

I’ve been trying out the Godox FL15Bi Pocket LED Video Light, gifted by @eachshot.uk , and I’m seriously impressed with how much power they’ve packed into something this compact. 🤍

It’s lightweight, portable and perfect for content creation when I don’t want to drag out a full lighting setup. With adjustable 2800K–6500K colour temperature, 11 FX effects, a foldable zoom lens, magnetic barn door and a rechargeable battery, there’s so much room to get creative with it.

And with IP54 weather resistance, it isn’t just staying in the studio either 👀

Definitely one I’ll be reaching for when shooting beauty, product and fragrance content. ✨

For the past few weeks I’ve been trying out the Godox iM30 Pro. Thank you to @eachshot.uk for sending it out to me.

The Godox iM30 Pro is powerful for its size. It’s super easy to use and being able to tilt the flash makes it great for bouncing light. As I don’t use flash an awful lot it was a fun challenge but in the end I thought it would be interesting to use it to take pictures of my gear and share what I use. I can’t wait to use it more in the future when I incorporate it more in my work.

All photos (except the last one) were taken using the Godox iM30 Pro.

Ad | Vintage aesthetic on the outside, modern essentials under the hood⚡️📸

I spent the weekend putting the new Godox Lux Junior II through its paces around the home study. While it nails that classic 1970s rangefinder look on the X100VI, this update quietly fixes the biggest practical limitations of compact retro flashes.

The articulated head now tilts and swivels, letting you bounce soft, flattering light off ceilings and walls instead of blasting harsh direct flash into every frame. Disposable batteries are finally gone in favour of internal USB-C charging, and automatic TTL metering takes the guesswork out of quick candid shots.

Stick around to the end of the reel to see how the test frames turned out.

A huge thanks to @eachshot.uk for sending this over to test!

When you're shooting compact setups indoors, are you team direct flash or team soft bounce light?

•Frozen in Motion•
~Fujifilm XT5, Godox iM30Pro, 23mm/ f1.2/ ISO125

These images were shot using the incredibly compact Godox iM30Pro flash. A slow shutter speed paired with this pocket-sized powerhouse, paints with motion while keeping the subject perfectly frozen in time. It also performed very well shooting against strong spotlights and in complete darkness, giving professional results! Thank you to @eachshot.jp for letting me test this little beast! I definitely recommend this sleek little flash with its nice digital interface.

Small Subjects. Big Possibilities. 🔍✨

When you move closer, every detail starts to matter.

With the Godox MA2, you can place light exactly where the shot needs it. Dual flexible arms give you the freedom to shape illumination from different angles, while LED modeling light helps you preview the effect before you capture the moment.

From the delicate texture of a leaf to the intricate details of an insect, MA2 helps turn tiny subjects into striking images.

Get closer. Shape the light. Reveal more.

Ad | A huge thanks to @eachshot.uk for sending over the Godox V1 MID S round-head flash for me to test out.

I’ve always leaned heavily into natural light for my photography, but the optical round head on this flash completely changed my perspective. Direct flash brings such a punchy, contemporary edge - especially for product details and editorial street/lifestyle shots - and the circular light falloff on the V1 MID keeps the lighting natural and evenly feathered without harsh hot spots.

Key Specs:

⚡ Power: 55 Ws output with optical round Fresnel head

⚖️ Weight: ~413 g (compact & balanced on mirrorless bodies)

🔋 Battery: USB-C rechargeable Li-ion (~650 full-power flashes)

⏱️ Recycle Time: ~1.7s at full 1/1 power

📱 Interface: 2.0-inch color touchscreen + tactile dial

🔄 Articulation: -7° to 120° tilt | 330° swivel

🎯 Zoom: 28–105mm (Auto / Manual)

I had a lot of fun with this flash and I’ll be posting some of the results of what I captured with this setup shortly, along with a full in-depth write-up on my blog for anyone interested (link will be in my bio).

Eachshot have given me an exclusive 10% discount code to pass on to you lovely lot for the V1 MID (Model S and Model C), with UK stock available on Amazon.

🏷️ Code: SU9BVOHO

🗓️ Valid: 28 August - 30 September 📸

The Godox iM30Pro Flash is such a cool little companion for photography on the go. 📸✨

What I really like is how versatile it is, you can use it with different cameras instead of being limited to just one. I’ve used it with both my Fujifilm X100VI and my Ricoh GR IV HDF, and it works great with both. 🔥

Small, compact, and perfect for those spontaneous shots when you want a little extra light. 🤍📷
