Looking back on an unforgettable EADV Congress in Vienna.

More than 20,000 delegates came together for an inspiring Congress, and I was very happy to contribute as a session Chair and to meet so many colleagues from across our community.

And of course, I couldn’t miss cheering for France at the EADV Games! 🇫🇷🏆

As I begin my term as President of EADV, it is a great honour to serve our Academy and to build on the vision and work that have shaped EADV over the years, while looking ahead to the future.

I would also like to express my sincere gratitude to Prof Branka Marinović @branka_marinovic_ for her leadership, guidance and advice, which I will carry with me as I begin this new chapter.

Our Academy continues to evolve, and I believe that the next generation has a central role to play in shaping the future of dermatology and venereology. My aim is to help pave the way for young dermatologists and venereologists, creating opportunities to learn, contribute, lead and bring new ideas to our field.

I am also delighted to welcome Prof Carmen Salavastru as EADV President-Elect @carmen.salavastru. I look forward to working closely with her as we continue to strengthen our Academy and prepare for the future.

I look forward to working with the entire EADV community and beginning this new chapter together.
