Tonight at Ghetto therapy we celebrated the life and birthday of Earnie Sledge @earnies_light “TEENS SUICIDE AWARENESS NIGHT” youth and adults filled the space we had activities we made guitars in honor of Earnie! Adults and youth shared who they are tonight was a celebration and great time!!!

This Wednesday October 14th at Ghetto therapy, we’re located at 2390 East 79th Quincy 6pm we’re celebrating the life of Earnie @earnies_light in collaboration with @angelk1 , TEENS SUICIDE AWARENESS NIGHT! A month from today 10/14 is my baby’s 21st Birthday and life don’t seem right or normal to me😔😔😭😢. It’s been weighing heavy on me for a good while now and I’ve been stagnant with Earnie’s light!! But God has been telling me to get it together 🙏🏾🙏🏾 I believe, better yet I know that Earnie has been sending me signs too! So we will celebrate my baby’s 21st Birthday on his bday 10/14/26 while having some fun Mental Health activities. Save the date ❤️. These pictures show some of Earnie’s funny, energetic personality🥰

Just like my baby girl @ms_anique.k said this is the first of many. “ God wrote the steps” “pain turn purpose”! Powerful words. I will continue to keep my baby’s legacy alive by spreading awareness and saving lives!. Thank you to everyone who came out to support Earnie’s Light first event, everyone that volunteered their assistance, time and energy, those that made donations. Anyone who supported in any way, I truly truly appreciate all of you and words can’t express my sincere gratitude ❤️. Special Thanks to the two awesome speakers @iamtuwanspencer and @mlee27896 we enjoyed both powerful messages🥰 Can’t wait to hear them speak again😊.

Today Today Today 🥹🥹🥹! 1yr ago today my baby left us😔. Life will never be the same for us. He was such a smart, energetic, funny, craftsman/jack of all trades, sweet person. These videos show some of who he was, he built the roller coaster and the robot in literally 20/25 min. I miss him dearly❤️. As long as I have breath, I’m going to do everything in my power to keep parents, families, and friends from feeling this horrific type of pain! I hope that Me and my baby can change the world with Earnie’s Light🙏🏾. As long as we save at least 1 life, I will have joy🙌🏽

This was the first event I did to honor Earnie’s 1st Birthday in Heaven. This event was before I started Earnie’s light and it motivated me even more to save lives while keeping his name and legacy alive! As long as I have breath this is my purpose❤️🙌🏽.
This second video was also the night of the first awareness event. The first few minutes she’s waiting for them to get their bags with pencils and notebooks but watch the entire video. This was the beginning of Bianca’s (Psych NP) talk/forum before hearing from several of the teens (you can see a few of
them speak in the previous posted video). Several teens also answered questions and spoke freely that night❤️. It was great to see and hear them talk. Many of our teens and young adults don’t always know how to express their feelings or issues they may be having. Part of Earnie’s Light mission is to shine light and hope and help them to lift their voices.

Join us on Saturday, 6/13/26 from 4p-7p for another suicide awareness/prevention event. This will be the formal Introduction of Earnie’s Light, our mission, vision, and the introduction of the board members. There will also be two powerful speakers, giveaways, and several mental health organizations with resource tables. 🙌🏽🙌🏽.
