🦪 This October, we’re taking our Shellebrating Stewardship theme inland with a community clean-up alongside the Great Raleigh Clean Up and Earp’s Seafood Market!

Join the NC Oyster Trail team for a morning of picking up litter, beautifying our community, and learning more about how our actions inland can make a difference for our coastal waters. What happens on land doesn’t stay on land - litter and other pollution can make its way into our waterways, eventually reaching the coast and affecting the health of our estuaries and oyster reefs.

We’ll meet at Earp’s Seafood Market, where you’ll also have the chance to learn about the North Carolina Coastal Federation’s oyster shell recycling program and see how Earp’s serves as a public shell recycling site. ♻️

📍 Earp’s Seafood Market, Raleigh
📅 Saturday, October 24
⏰ 10am - 12pm

The clean-up is free to attend, but registration is recommended! Grab a friend, get your hands dirty, and let’s shellebrate stewardship together. 🌎
