So, let's finish off this week's Vinyl Sunday with another of the: "when did I buy this?" Of course, "Angel of the Morning" is on this. I don't think she had another hit. by @earstotheground.ca

Looks like nostalgia is the theme for this week's Vinyl Sunday. I'm seeing a lot of Gilbert O'Sullivan posts on Facebook, lately . He's still performing. Probably doing "Alone, Again..." as the encore. So here's today's second feature. by @earstotheground.ca

No particular theme in mind for this week's Vinyl Sunday, so let's start off with this classic. Haven't played this for awhile. Hello, old pal... by @earstotheground.ca

Also found downstairs, but many others in the collection. I've been in love with Carly Simon since I first heard her back in high school. I still question James Taylor's sanity. Somewhere in a book, I have the teletype news announcement of their son Ben's birth. I was at CKGB-FM, so 1972ish. A fine choice for this week's Vinyl Sunday second choice. by @earstotheground.ca

I wish I dove into the basement record collection sooner. I would have played this for Dolly. Didn't know it was there. So, there's no better way to start this week's Vinyl Sunday with this classic. Many albums in that collection come from a library and don't have the actual jacket cover. This is the inner sleeve. It's from the album entitled Trio. by @earstotheground.ca

Still mining my Dad's collection. Many years back, he and my Mom came back from Toronto having seen The Supremes. They loved the show, but were blown away by the blind kid who opened for them. This collection features some very early Wonder. Anyone remember Fingertips (Part II)? by @earstotheground.ca

Random selection to start this week's Vinyl Sunday. This is one of my Dad's (hence his name on it), but it was unopened. Like me, he inherited several record collections from others. Al Jolson had a smooth voice, but he couldn't pull this off today. I can't remember ever hearing his voice playing at our house, but many of these songs are very familiar. Bugs Bunny, maybe? by @earstotheground.ca

And to wrap up this week's Vinyl Sunday, here's an album I didn't even know I had. They go back quite a ways, so this collaboration shouldn't be a surprise. This is the only studio album they did together. by @earstotheground.ca

Let's do duos as a theme. So the second selection for this week's Vinyl Sunday is this classic. This is their first album. Jim Messina was also in Buffalo Springfield (with Neil Young and Stephen Stills) and Poco. Kenny Loggins had his own career after the duo parted ways. by @earstotheground.ca

No planned direction for this week's Vinyl Sunday, so starting with this. Cashman and West never made it huge as a duo, but they did produce Jim Croce's albums. I'd play him next, but don't think I have any of his albums. by @earstotheground.ca

And because David Crosby produced this, her first album, let's end off this week's Vinyl Sunday with the goddess herself. She was romantically involved with both with Crosby and Nash. by @earstotheground.ca
