Salt Water — when all the noise begins to thin. I have salt in my hair.

“Salt Water” appears in blog #7 titled Salt Water on my website. the passage of time is so strange to me—the way it puts so much distance between me & my feelings. newness is generated in every passing moment, I’m learning that now more than ever thru confusing times. and just how much patience it takes. it’s all a familiar dance.

how do you let yourself feel? I write, sleep a lot, sit in silence, dance, take long showers, lay in nature, swim in the ocean, cry!, acknowledge my faults and wash them away. It’s inevitable to feel too much, it’s nice to feel at all.

I’ve spent the last year n a half in pieces, trying to redefine what a home means to me. trying to manage my capacity for everything. especially people. filling a void w work. intimidated by my talent and my passions. hopeful for sustainable intimacy and comfort. what does any of that even mean! I think im doing a great job at trying my best. largely a human being, minutely really broken up about it all by @earth2infinityy
