Kanthaloor Traditional Earthen Stay with Private Pool | Women Collective Project | Marayoor

I visited the beautiful Earthen Pool Villa 🌿 — a unique stay built using traditional earthen construction methods.
This villa is made with natural materials like mud and follows eco-friendly, temperature-cooling traditional techniques that give a calm and soulful experience.
What makes this place even more special is — it's a collective women entrepreneurship project 💚
✨ No branded products used inside the villa
✨ All items are women-made home based products
✨ Entire space curated by local women entrepreneurs
✨ Every partition is handmade
✨ Lamp shades are completely handcrafted
✨ Traditional + eco-friendly construction concept
✨ Supporting local artisans and sustainable living
This is not just a pool villa… it's a traditional handmade experience that promotes women empowerment and local craftsmanship.
Perfect place for peaceful stay, couple trip, and meaningful travel content.
Support local. Support handmade. Support women entrepreneurs 🌿

Mud house.

Earthen pool villa is very unique.

we just loved the ambience of this mud house. The living room we call it in Malayalam ‘UMMARAM’ is the best place. Bedroom is spacious. Perfect place for stress busters. My 9 year old thoroughly enjoyed the stay. Wash room very neat and reminds me about our ancesteal home. Pool is the highlight especially you are with your family. Our son is asking when we are planning our next trip to Earthen. Thank you salini for this wonderful idea

Nearby activities: Irachilpara

waterfall, Muniyara, and the journey through sandal forest all were memorable. Must visit Marayur kanthalloor jaggery field visit vegetable farm

Safety: Our care taker guide Mr Sunny was here all time. So we felt very safe. And there is nothing to worry even if we are alone.

Walkability: We enjoyed the beauty of the

village Anakkalpetty Channelmedu. Morning walk around the village will give you a fresh start. There are small streams on the way and it is very serene

Hotel highlights: Great view, Romantic, Quiet,

Child-friendly
