Stoked !! (As you can see from the pictures!!!)
The Indian Ceramics Triannale @indianceramicstriennale spear headed a group project called "Clay in Common" -Totem Poles installation at the India Art Fair @indiaartfair 2024 New Delhi.
The installation looked absolutely stunning! The coming together of varied clay artists and their varied techniques !! A community project that truly represented the meaning of Togetherness! A truly vibrant and energetic coming together of creative forces!
Was such excitement in the ceramics community to just be part of this great adventure!
My two pieces - the first was titled "The Venom of hatred around us"
And the second is called "Jagged Edges - Life as we know it"
It was my absolute honour to be part of this project.

With the start of this season 2026/27 we will be assuming the identity of the magical Horse and hoping to imbibe all the majestical aura of the Horse. And as such all our pieces will be stamped so.

The horse stands out as a profound emblem of power, freedom, and spiritual transcendence, celebrated across various cultures and historical periods. These majestic animals have trotted through our collective consciousness, embodying the ideals we hold dear and reflecting our deepest aspirations.

As I have never signed my pieces, this will be our revolving identity from here on. Hoping to have a new inspiration every year!!!

Of things All earth..... subtle..... beautiful....
Of quiet dignity..... peace n all love !
Of clouds n earth meeting high up above somewhere..... mountains maybe !!
Of beauty in harmony n synchronicity.....all rolled into one !
Of calm in the eye of the storm all around!!

#kurinuki #Memoryjars .......
Brought all those memories flooding back into the mainstream...... all that digging through the clay also went sharp in digging some memories into the forefront of thought! Some smiles, some tears, some absolutely momentous moments!
Jars were my mom in law aka Ammies favourite collection! We have many at her still beautifully kept home !! I know she would have loved these !!
