this december, we open a pilgrimage through the ancient mystery temples of egypt: a journey into sacred union

an 8-day elevated experience through cairo, aswan, luxor, and the nile
woven as a living field of embodiment, remembrance, and initiation

we move through the great pyramids, philae, dendera, abydos, karnak, and luxor
as energetic thresholds
with private sunrise access at the Great Pyramids of Giza, and private ceremonial access at Dendera and Abydos

through breath, somatics, ceremony, and presence

a little reminder:

you don’t have to be exhausted to deserve rest.

you don’t have to finish everything on your to-do list before you’re allowed to enjoy your life.

you don’t have to turn every season into a project that needs to be perfected, or brought to fruition.

sometimes regulation is:
a blue lagoon.
a hibiscus in your hair.
a flowing cotton dress.

and a body that finally has enough space to soften and integrate.

in my 20s, my very first business was called samambaia, fern in portuguese.

i had completely forgotten the name until recently.

and now, knowing what i know about my path, it feels almost like a message from a younger version of me.

ferns are among the most ancient plant lineages on earth. they have witnessed worlds transform, landscapes disappear, and entire ecosystems be reborn.

there is something in their medicine that speaks to me deeply. they grow in the shade. they root. they unfold from within.

and their spiral reminds me that becoming is not linear.
there are seasons of retreat. of growing in the dark. of not yet knowing what we are becoming.

looking back, i feel so much tenderness for the girl who chose samambaia before earth sandy, before the temples, before i had words for somatic work, sacred remembrance, or the intelligence of the body.

she was already in relationship with something she couldn’t yet articulate.

maybe we choose certain symbols long before we understand why.
maybe some part of us has always known.
and maybe becoming is simply returning, again and again, to the little seeds our younger selves left along the way.

the water has a way of returning us to what has always been true. beneath the roles we carry, the stories we tell, the ways we protect ourselves… there is a body that longs to soften, trust and remember.

this is what we witnessed together.
tears. laughter. silence. surrender.

thank you to everyone who stepped into the water with such courage and open hearts. it is a privilege to hold these spaces.
