Happy Juneteenth everyone! In honor of today I wanted to share some facts about it. Growing up I’ve celebrated Juneteenth before it was made a national holiday with my family in Louisiana and here in Houston, TX. As I got older, understanding how important and why it’s celebrated speaks many volumes to me. Black history is so rich and a major part of American history itself. Juneteenth originated in Galveston, TX but the descendants of those who came to learn of their freedom have settled there, in surrounding areas, and other states too due to The Scatter, The Great Migration, and other reasons of relocation. Here’s to the importance of Black Americans in this country and may we continue to make more historyā¤ļøšŸ’ššŸ’›šŸ–¤Can’t wait to see the new Juneteenth flag! Check out different sources like @juneteenthhouston to learn more about Juneteenth and its history ✨Shirt from @1389woodliff Earrings made by @oscarofneworleans by @earthxtoned

I want to talk about how important our use of the internet is. This video has been sitting in my camera roll since around New Years and so much has happened since then. I do specify content creators, but to be truthful if you use social media to any extent then this also applies to you. The internet is such an amazing tool where we can access a ginormous amount of information. However it is a double edged sword. The consumption of too much information can also affect us negatively which is why doomscrolling is also a problem as well. Yet like I said it is a double edged sword. As damaging as it is, the internet can be used to bring people together, connect connections that never have been connected, educate those who do not have access to quality education, and expand communication. This very reason is why a certain population is trying their hardest to use their power in order to control and silence. We all play a part in the society we live in and it’s up to us to hold ourselves accountable with the power we have. That power being our voice and our knowledge. by @earthxtoned

Are you paying attention?Neptune just transitioned into Aries on January 26, 2026. Neptune is the planet of imagination, spirituality, and faith, spending about fourteen years in each sign. With Neptune in Aries, his mystical influence takes on a bold and expressive quality. This period encourages a deep exploration of personal identity and the transcendent power of self-expression. Individuals may be stimulated to take courageous steps toward embodying their ideals, blending faith with action. When misused, this energy could lead to deception, confusion around self-image, or impulsive escapism, while for the best, Neptune in Aries fosters a dynamic, inspired approach that ignites passion, individuality, and a renewed sense of spiritual purpose. This means we will see an influx of people taking action thanks to the Arian energy. The last time Neptune was in Aries was the start of the civil war. Healing isn’t about showing the illusion (Pisces) of what it looks like during this transit. It’s about embracing the journey in order to heal. Whether it’s the good or the bad. Prepare yourself to take action these next 14 years #neptune #aries #htx #astrology by @earthxtoned

For quite some time, it’s been a struggle for me to post on this platform. I felt like I wasn’t going down a path that I wanted to with it so I took a step back and focused on things that I wanted to achieve in my personal life. The thing is, I want to build a community that is lasting and provide people with things that they need in order to not only survive, but to live their life, I’m definitely gonna be doing that from now on but in a different way in a way that is fitting for myself. I hope you stay to be a part of the journey on this place we call Earth. by @earthxtoned

Vitality>noun<The power giving continuance of life, present in all living things. These past couple months I have been allowing myself to just exist. If you asked me if I would be able to do this years ago, then I would have tell you that it was something that I can never imagine myself doing. Being a first born daughter, first generation college student, and a generational cycle starter made me believe that I couldn’t allow myself to rest otherwise I would lose grasp of what I want. Last year I took a six week social media break and it made me realize how much society forces us to constantly move faster than we would like to. In fact, reclaiming your time is seen as ā€œlazyā€ or other negative connotations. I believe it shouldn’t and people should take the time to rest when need be. When we rest, we are able to recharge our vitality. Then we are able to transform into something much greater and achieve a higher vibrational energy than before. It gives you the power to change, create, and collaborate. There may be times where it feels like I might have fallen off the face of the earth, but I am just hibernating before the next transformation in my life. With that said, I’m excited for this new chapter and I’m hoping to bring something new to what I offer to my community. With much love,Doni ā¤ļøā€šŸ”„ by @earthxtoned

In honor of National BIPOC Mental Health Month, let's come together to raise awareness, break the stigma, and ensure access to mental health resources for all communities. By supporting diversity and inclusion in mental health care, we can create a more understanding and supportive environment for everyone. BIPOC Mental Health Month is a nationwide effort developed by Bebe Moore Campbell of National Alliance on Mental Illnesses (@namicommunicate) to recognize mental health issues in disadvantaged communities. She co-founded NAMI Urban Los Angeles and became a national change agent whose groundbreaking work revolutionized the way we approach mental health in underserved communities. She recognized and understood the detrimental consequences of silence rooted in stigma — one of the reasons for the lack of mental health care and treatment within communities of color.Remember, mental wellness is for all, and by empowering each other, we can make a real difference.#BIPOCMentalHealthMonth #MentalHealthMatters #EndTheStigma #MentalHealthAwareness #SupportDiversity #InclusiveMentalHealth #BreakTheSilence #MentalWellnessForAll #EmpowerMentalHealth #CommunitySupport #BebeMooreCampbell by @earthxtoned
