Here’s a FREE Halloween event that’s full of treats, surprises and spooky fun without being TOO scary for the little ones! 🎃👻

No Tricks, Just Treats is coming to Eastland Shopping Centre in Ringwood for TWO days of FREE indoor trick or treating, and I LOVE the sound of this one!

Halloween can sometimes be a little overwhelming for younger kids, but this looks like such a fun way to get into the spooky spirit without all the frights! Plus, any excuse to get the kids dressed up in their Halloween costumes, right?!

Instead of going door to door around the neighbourhood, the kids can explore the shopping centre on their very own Halloween scavenger hunt.

Here’s how it works:
🎃 Collect your FREE Halloween bucket and map from Level 1, near Breadtop.
👻 Follow the map to THREE Halloween-themed Knock Knock Doors, each with a surprise waiting!
🚪 Pumpkin Patch – Level 1, near Bonds Kids
💀 Ghostly Mausoleum – Level 2, outside UNIQLO
🌼 Day of the Dead – Level 2, outside Kmart
🍬 Keep exploring! Participating retailers will also have extra treats and trinkets to discover along the way.

And because it’s all INDOORS, there’s no worrying about Melbourne’s unpredictable spring weather.

📍 Eastland Shopping Centre, 175 Maroondah Highway, Ringwood

📅 Friday 30 October | 4pm–7pm
📅 Saturday 31 October | 10am–4pm
🎟️ FREE to participate
🧙‍♀️ Costumes encouraged
🪣 Buckets and treats available while stocks last

I think this is such a lovely way to introduce younger kids to Halloween, especially if they’re not quite ready for the scarier stuff. And who doesn’t love an excuse to dress up and collect some treats?! 🎃

We’ve had reports of a missing best friend. Last seen saying “I’m just having a quick look”... 45 minutes ago. 👀

Are they building at the LEGO® Store, browsing at Victoria’s Secret, discovering the latest scents at Bath & Body Works or sourcing new stationery at Kaisercraft?

Pop your head in and see if they’re there, then comment where we’d most likely find you! 👇 by @eastland
