🎵 MEET THE BAND 🎵
Easy Pete and the Early Pearls have been making lindy hoppers dance already for the last six months and it's about time we properly introduce ourselves.
The band is a project by singer and double bass player Pieter Mortier also known as "Easy Pete", inviting a set of talented musicians to join him on stage, the "Early Pearls" (in the spirit of Earl Bostic).
Together they bring an irresistible mix of swing, early R&B and groove. They take you back to the days of legendary dancing, from Fats Waller to Louis Jordan, mixed with original compositions and a sound that is raw, playful and danceable at the same time. Occasionally, some Pearls might go and others may join, but all will be making Easy Pete shine.
Whether you dance lindy hop or blues, with Easy Pete it's always a party.

What an energy and vibe last Saturday at STUKswing! From a musicality taster with the live band to community dancing (Cupid Shuffle!), from live swing jazz to a floor full of incredible & happy dancers — it had it all!

Lace up your dance shoes and get ready to swing out again on March 21 — it’s going to be wild!
