7 years together deserved something special, and Tandy’s Café absolutely delivered. ❤️

From the first bite of the cacao bread and butter studded with cacao nibs, decadent, slightly bitter, and somehow almost like starting dinner with dessert. We knew we were in for a memorable night.

The star of the evening was the incredible 20+ hour mole-braised pork shank, fall-apart tender and packed with rich, complex flavor.
The chicken and dumplings were pure comfort in a bowl, tasting like a warm hug and the most perfect Thanksgiving gravy you’ve ever had.

And can we talk about the sleeper hit? The asparagus. That dill aioli was so unbelievably good I’ll be dreaming about it for weeks.

To top it all off, we ended the night with a traditional Mayan drinking chocolate that felt like the perfect finale to an unforgettable meal.

Huge thank you to Tandy Peterson for taking such incredible care of us all evening and helping make our 7-year anniversary celebration one we’ll never forget.

Skip the rock shrimp- it’s $36 & not worth it

They did forget our Wagyu dumplings but that just means I’ll need to do again

My friends have created something truly special here
This isn’t just dinner that Gabby had created- these are DESTINATION-WORTHY MEALS. 🇹🇭❤️

The grilled steak curry? Unreal. (Gaeng khua)
& The strawberry papaya salad? I’m already dreaming about my next visit

& just when we thought the meal couldn’t possibly get any better, Chef Gabby and the incredible team surprised us with the most outrageous Thai tea custard French toast topped with ice cream. 🤯🍞🍦

There isn’t even a dessert menu right now, and they STILL pulled that masterpiece out of their hats?! ICONIC.👏🏻🤤

And the Pinot/Chardonnay blend they may do a collab with in Cali, Don’t even get me started. 🍷 UNREAL. (I ordered 2 glasses after)

The food, the creativity, the hospitality, the unexpected surprises… THIS is what dining out should feel like. A little adventure, home, & a lot of flavor, and an experience that leaves you talking about it long after the last bite.

Homme, you’ve got something special. Chef Gabby & team, THANK YOU for feeding us like that. We’ll absolutely be back. 🥂✨

One session in… and I already understand why people talk about ketamine therapy like it’s a complete reset. 🥹✨

I’m officially on my healing journey, and after everything this year has thrown at me, giving my brain a chance to just… be quiet for a little while was something I didn’t even realize how badly I needed.

My first IV ketamine treatment was honestly incredible. The peace, the calm, the feeling of being completely detached from the noise in my head… for the first time in a very long time, my mind just STOPPED. 🧠✨

And while I know healing isn’t going to happen overnight, I can already feel a difference after just ONE session. It’s hard to put into words, but it genuinely feels like something shifted. Like my brain got to take a deep breath. 🫶🏼

I’m so excited (and honestly a little emotional) to see what the next few treatments bring. Here’s to rewiring, rebuilding, processing, and finding my way back to myself. 🤍

Also, I cannot say enough good things about Redemption Psychiatry. From the kindness of everyone there to the care, environment, and genuinely reasonable rates — it doesn’t feel like walking into a medical office. It feels like walking into a place where people actually care. And during a season of life where I’ve needed a little extra compassion, that means everything.

One treatment down. So much healing ahead. ✨

✨ Another incredible meal at Miel de Agave in Downtown Chandler! 🌵🍽️ Their dishes seriously continue to impress me every single time.

And the Silk Rose?! 😍🌹 I was OBSESSED. It tasted like a strawberry yoplait! (Supposed to come with Rose petals they were out)
I also tried to order the Chichen Itza however they were out of the fried crickets so I decided against it

We ordered the Tacos Dorados (BEST I have ever had I could eat 2 of those orders alone), and Ribeye Chicharrones & poblano chicken Tinga enchiladas

@mieldeagaverestaurants just keeps proving why it’s one of my favorite spots in Downtown Chandler. ❤️🌮
