Went to @amano.ph for the A MANO x Manam collab, and of course we ended up ordering a few more things. 😂

The Crispy Sisig Pizza was my favorite. Crispy sisig, guanciale, cheese, pickled onions and chili. Really good.

The Ube Sago Burrata Soft Serve was such a fun combo too. Sweet, creamy, a little salty, with that chewy sago.

Also had the Bianco, Fusilli, and Pizza Gamberi Aglio. That Bianco was another favorite.

Pretty solid lunch. 🤤🤤🤤

Some dinners are about trying somewhere new. This one was more about going back to a place I already know I like, and seeing what else I’ve been missing.

The brisket and grilled romaine were still favorites. But the truffle pasta and pizza ended up being the unexpected favorites of the night.

And 50 cloves of garlic in one chicken?
Can’t say no to that. 🤣

Why I came back twice in a week.

There was still so much on the menu I wanted to try, and the second visit did not disappoint.

The dim sum, salted egg yolk spareribs, lemon chicken, Peking duck and Richman fried rice were some of my favorites. Honestly, everything we ordered was delicious.

Now I’m already thinking about what to order the next time. 😂

First time at @centralerestaurant and we definitely ordered enough for the whole table. 😅

The Gambas à la Grenobloise and Quattro Stagioni were my favorites, while the Pasta alla Ruota and Fondue de Bœuf made the meal extra fun.

And a little bonus: we got a bottle of red wine for reaching the purchase requirement. 🍷

Another @molitolifestylecenter find worth adding to the list.

Oks Manoks is now in BF Homes. 🍗

The inasal was a given, but we also found ourselves really liking the chicken skin, chicharon bulaklak, and pork sisig.

Finally got to try the place everyone’s been talking about for its chirashi.

Started with the chawanmushi, then worked our way through the sushi: chutoro, otoro, uni, hotate and more.

The Umami Soy Chirashi was the one I was most curious about, while the Grilled Unagi Chirashi was a different take altogether.

I was pretty full by the time the unagi came around, but the sushi was the part I’d happily go back for.

Definitely one to keep on the list.

One roof. Every craving. 🍣🥩🍜

We went to Kiwami with everyone craving Japanese, just… not the same kind. 😂

So we went from yakitori to ramen, katsu, and more, with different concepts under one roof. Basically, the easiest group dinner decision ever.

And Hannosuke’s Signature Tendon Set was another favorite: ebi, squid and scallop kakiage, all under that sweet, glossy heirloom sauce.

Along with Yabu’s Salmon Katsu Set, these were definitely our favorites. 👀

Unlimited Wagyu, a 90-minute timer, and friends who suddenly become very competitive. 😂🥩

Because while you could spend the whole time focusing on the wagyu, there’s also a table of starters, maki, karaage, and dessert waiting in between rounds.

And then there are the little things that make the experience more fun: switching up each bite with garlic farofa, vinagrete, or tare, with a few beautiful corners of @umanota.manila to take in between bites.

Basically, come hungry. And maybe don’t make dinner plans after. 😂

Why I’d bring you here.

Not because it’s limited.

Because this is what a collaboration should feel like. Two kitchens, two styles, and every dish genuinely feels like it belongs to both.

🍜 Dry Dan Dan Biang Biang (Aug. 5-6 only, BGC)

🍜 Mapo Tofu Ramen (Aug. 5-31, BGC & Rockwell)

🥟 Mala Gyoza (Aug. 5-31, BGC & Rockwell)

And while you’re there, don’t skip the Katsudon. A Ramen Ron visit is never complete without it. Still the best in the city for me.

Only 30 servings of each collab dish are available daily, so if you’re planning to go, come early.
