261031's log 💌 - it's hairy crab season and @jimmyskitchenhk has launched their limited time only hairy crab menu!! i would honestly go for everything in the menu but if i have to choose, the pasta is a must order. they don't skim on the meat and the roe is just 10000000/10. their classics are also as good, as expected from a restaurant who has been serving hk since 1928. i personally really liked the french onion soup (simply a soup lover, esp good ones) and also their briny and fresh oysters! I WAS REALLY HAPPY WITH THIS MEAL SO I HOPE YOU ARE TOO! - 📍Jimmy’s Kitchen (@jimmyskitchenhk) 🗺️ M/F, Pedder Building, 12 Pedder Street, Central - 🏷️ : #what_to_eat_today #hkguide #hongkong #hkfood #eaternitieshk by @eaternities
261026's log 💌 - kai tak is back with a new banh mi takeaway shop and honestly, everything about this place is SO CUTEEEEE, esp the decor!!! i esp like their braised short rib banh mi, it's so tender and honestly, a fun twist to traditional banh mi which is already plenty in hk. the truffle pate in their saigon classic one is pretty GOOD TOO!! their coffee is supplied directly from hoi an roastery, pretty strong for me (i got a taste of it from the coffee jelly in my drink). perfect cute hangout place in airside!! - what did we order: 👑 braised short rib banh mi (88hkd) ♥ saigon classic banh mi (75hkd) ♥ mot style hoi an detox and refreshing lemongrass tea (42hkd) 👑 matcha coconut with coffee jelly (48hkd) ♥ hoi an lantern cinnamon roll (35hkd) - 📍Cà Phê Hội An (@caphehoianhk) 🗺️ Shop 320, 3/F, AIRSIDE, 2 Concorde Road, Kai Tak, Kowloon City - 🏷️ : #what_to_eat_today #hkguide #hongkong #hkfood #eaternitieshk by @eaternities
261023's log 💌 - i personally think seaweed soup is quite underrated?! i had a lot of this during my exchange in korea and it hits different esp during cold weather. i'm quite surprised to see a seaweed soup specialty shop in hk and honestly, i'm quite impressed with the quality of the food! i was expecting only a bowl of soup with rice but THE BANCHANNN WAS OVERFLOWING (even a whole mackarel?!) everything is very clean tasting, very healthy, like no bs type of food! i genuinely enjoyed the meal and would come back ☀️ - 📍Haedam (@haedam_hk) 🗺️ M/F, Hang Lung Bank Building, 46-48 Granville Road, Tsim Sha Tsui - 🏷️ : #what_to_eat_today #hkguide #hongkong #hkfood #eaternitieshk by @eaternities
261018's log 💌 - i love any sort of stir fry actually (sucker for wokhei btw, dapaidong no 1) and @boatking.hk sort of delivers a guangdong style stirfry with slightly modern twist (and seafood focused!!). black pepper prawns is definitely a must order, like the size of these things are super huge (it is not as peppery as you thought but if you only can handle bb spice, maybe not) and the steamed crab rice is definitely a showstopper (comes with garlic shrimp too!! super sweet, personally, i have not much complaint). - 📍Boat King (@boatking.hk) 🗺️ Shop 1, G/F & 1/F, Pao Yip Building, 1-7 Ship Street, Wan Chai - 🏷️ : #what_to_eat_today #hkguide #hongkong #hkfood #eaternitieshk by @eaternities
