Why have I never had the duck ragu from Melfis! It’s my new favorite dish there. If you don’t like warming spices do not order it it’s very nutmeg clove heavy which I loved but you have to like that flavor profile taken in Melfi's by @eatingwithcar

Had to try @veselkanyc ! My dad’s side is from Russia and mom’s is from Ukraine so this meal was very special to me. I have always wanted to try Borscht since I love anything beet and I loved it! Just tasted like beets to me and the sliced egg added a perfect bite of richness. I don’t think I’ll be making it but im very grateful I got to try it❤️ obvi got pierogis and the braised beef was my favorite but Amy said the potato one was good. Idk I like meat! 🤷‍♀️ mushroom and barley soup also was a warm hug! 🇺🇦 grateful for where my family came from and the food. taken in New York by @eatingwithcar

Just realized I didn’t post my favorite meal from New York City!!! We went to @missadanyc in fort Greene and omg. The hummus, pita, whipped ricotta with brown butter, brick chicken, I absolutely loveeee Mediterranean food. I need to start eating more falafel I decided. I’m really missing out. Everytime I go to nyc I will now have to go here taken in Brooklyn, New York by @eatingwithcar
