We didn’t realise how close this cafe was located to Vic Market, but such a cute lil spot if you’re after toasties, baked goods (cookies), or just a place to visit for a matcha date 😌

Their matcha menu had so much variety too, it took me a while to decide on what to get, but I enjoyed both of the drinks we got, the banana cream was my fave but the cinnamon was good too (only if you like cinnamon)!

The spicy sauce that came with the toastie was so frkn good I had to ask staff about it, turns out they make it in-house 🥲 pls sell it guys bc I’d buy it asappppp

It’s been two years since I’ve been back here and it’s still as good as I remember 🥹

My SIL organised this dinner to celebrate my MIL’s birthday and we enjoyed every single dish, but my faves had to be the burrata with the flatbread and the fried pumpkin (coming from someone who’s not a fan of pumpkin, this says a lot 👀)

I forgot to add a separate slide for the bluefin tuna escabeche but it was nice as an entree, with fresh, citrus-y flavours!!

first month since getting our keys 🏠

We’ve had a BUSY month with social plans, and so furniture building has been a slow process but it’s been super fun to say the least!

One thing that G and I have learnt tho is that I’m a micro-manager and like to take control of things HAHA (in the second slide you can lowkey tell hahaha lol soz G)

As tiring as it is, it’s been so nice slowly seeing everything come together and having family and friends visit, my heart is so full 🥹

experimenting with the ninja creami

I’ve saved 10+ different recipes lol but I wanted something simple for the first couple of times so that I can play around with the functions properly 😅

Ingredients:
— Rokeby protein smoothie (dutch chocolate)
— Oreos

Settings/modes:
— Lite ice cream
— Sorbet
— Mix in

It’s loud af so don’t be like us (we used it at midnight lmao) but the texture was pretty good! I have a sweet tooth and I feel like the smoothie becomes less sweet after freezing (idk the logic with that) but I’m gonna keep practicing til I find THE recipe 🙂‍↕️

Strong coffee boy 🤝 sweet coffee girlie

I’ve been wanting to visit this spot after seeing it all over my feed and the line looked longggg, we prob only waited for around 20-30 min?

I personally like my coffee sweet with cream (aka mont blanc) while G prefers stronger coffee, so its hard to find something we both like 😆

But this cafe that’s within an alleyway is so melbourne-coded, with such lovely staff and a small menu, you just know that they know what they’re doing 😌

HANDOVER DAY 🔑

What an experience this was!!

We went into this not knowing what to expect and just tried to prepare for “the worst” but ended up pleasantly surprised, it’s been such a positive experience that I’d lowkey do it again 😅

G really is the MVP for carrying us through this (this is a reminder that who you marry really matters lmao)

Now onto the next stage: furnishing ✨

📍Tone Coffee, North Melbourne

We had a free weekend so we decided to go to a new cafe so I picked Tone Coffee (even tho I’ve been but G hasn’t oop)

It was so packed so we couldn’t get a seat but maybe next time we’ll come earlier so that we can actually sit down and take our time 🥲

Honestly can’t go wrong with the tiger bomb, although I find it strong and it gives me the shakes but I’m a baby coffee drinker so 🫪

I rated the cookie but idk if I’d buy the scroll again

What better way to celebrate 11 years together than with amazing pasta??

G surprised me by taking me here and as soon as I stepped into the restaurant, I just KNEW we were going to have the best meal ever 😌

I genuinely can’t fault a single dish, there was sooo much flavour in the prawn bisque in the squid ink black linguine dish, I could literally lick the plate clean HAHA

Even the herb garlic butter for the fresh bread was incred 😆 def a spot I want to come back to again

Lil get ready with me for our day trip at Mt Buller 🤪

In addition to snowboarding, what I also love are the fits hehe. Over the years I’ve learnt that the baggier the outfit, the more comfy it is (I’ve had my fair share of trips being miserable with vvv tight pants lmao do not recommend)

I’m obsessed with my new fit and colour combo, the pants are so comfortable and the jacket has sooo many pockets (for all my snacks 😛)

PS how cool is the built-in cleaning cloth for your goggles like whatttt?? Every snow jacket needs this fr

Words can’t describe how much I love fresh pastries esp when you just make a mess bc of all the layers ugh

We had the beef pie and sausage roll and both were so tasty, so if the audio doesn’t convince you to get the pie then yeah you’re missing out 😭

our home building journey: week 18

It feels like we were looking for land and going through display homes only last week, but in reality that was a while ago 😅

Editing this reel got me EMOTIONAL because what do you mean we’re (technically) done and have our NHP (“New Home Presentation”/Practical Completion Inspection) next week?

If you haven’t noticed already, I’m OBSESSED with our facade and the colours we chose, thanks to G for believing in me and my vision and ofc boutique homes for building our dream home 🥹
