It is thinly sliced, smoky Wagyu beef that melts like butter on your tongue, accompanied by impeccably crispy shrimp tempura, all generously drizzled with a tantalizing mayo and teriyaki sauce. The Surf and Turf Sushi at ICHŌ is an explosion of exquisite flavors that will have you yearning for more.

Philadelphia Roll - ★★★☆☆

Yay, it's Friday! What is your go-to restaurant? There are just some days when we’re too lazy to think of what to eat. But of course, we always want to have good food.

Today is one of those days for me, but alas, I chose to dine at Italianni's. They have high-quality food, especially their pastas, hand crafted pizzas, and entrees. What we had:

🍟 Italian Truffle Fries
🍝Shrip & Basil Aglio Olio
🥧 Baked Ziti
🍕 Quattro Staggioni
🍗 Chicken Milanese

We ordered Italian Truffle Fries for our appetizer, and they are thinly sliced cripsy potato chips with a savory truffle dip. It's so so so good. You won't even notice you finished the plate already.

We had Shrimp & Basil Aglio Olio and Baked Ziti for pasta. Shrimp & Basil Aglio Olio is very light. You can taste the freshness of the basil and the shrimp, with a little bit of spiciness that can help to enhance your appetite. Baked Ziti is one of our regular orders. It has a very generous amount of meat with a dense sauce from the three Italian cheese and pesto sauce. It has a generous amount of sauce that you can dip your bread into it.

If you can't decide which pizza to grab, order their Quattro Staggioni, it includes Pepperoni, Mushroom & Artichokes, Shrimp & Black Olives and All Cheese. My personal favorite is the All Cheese it is flavorful that explodes in your mouth in every bite.

For our entree, we had Chicken Milanese. The chicken was perfectly cooked and well seasoned. The smokiness of the chicken takes it to a different level. The combination of spinach gorgonzola cream sauce and tomato balsamic relish makes the dish outstanding.

Does coffee affect your mood too? I can say that I am #GUILTY!!! 🙋‍♀️ that I need coffee in order to have a good day, and honestly also #GUILTY!!! That I spend too much on coffee. But what can I say, coffee is essential, dba? ☕️ Your cup of coffee is something personal, impacting each and every one of us in a different way. It might be a good starter for your day, an opportunity to bond with family and friends, or just a reward for a tiring day. And if you need something to brighten up your mood, @moodandcoffeeph is definitely worth a try!!! It is located in the Linfong Foodcourt near La Salle. They offer good coffee that definitely packs a punch!!, and surprisingly, at a very affordable price. You can really taste the premium quality beans concocted in their personal blend, with a perfect balance of bitterness and acidity. What we tried:

Mood coffee - if you're more of a classic iced coffee person, this is for you. It has a strong coffee taste but not too bitter nor too sweet. Tanggal antok mo at siguradong pakakabahin ka, promise! 😳

Spiced Spanish Latte - not your typical Spanish Latte. The cinnammon added a twist and enhanced the flavor of the coffee as a whole. Very unique! I personally love it as it brings different experience that makes you want to drink more. If you're into cinnamon or spiced lattes, you will certainly love this. This has a strong coffee flavor with definitely a punch. 👊

Salted Caramel Machiatto - out of all the flavors, this is my favorite! The coffee is strong but well balanced of creaminess and sweetness from the caramel. You can taste the caramel in every sip, but surprisingly, it's not too sweet and overwhelming. 😍

Omg! Ito na! 🍪 I was finally able to try @cientocookies. I actually have been eyeing them for a while now, as I’ve seen so much of their cookies on my feed. We tried 6 out of their 7 cookies, and I can say each of their cookies has a special taste and unique flavor.

Everything was good, chewy, and very moist. Each cookie had a very generous distribution of toppings. The flavors we tried include:

Red Velvet Cream Cheese - My favorite! 🤩 The creamcheese was soooo good. And the sweetness was just the right amount!, not too overwhelming. I can definitely eat a whole cookie in one seating! 😋

Midnight Cheesecake - This cookie is characteristic of its cream cheese and melted chocolate toppings that compliment each other very well. It has a good balance of sweetness and saltiness. Grabe to! 🥹

Birthday Bash - It has rainbow candy sprinkles and surprisingly a custard filling inside. It was my first time tasting cookies like this, Very unique! 😲

Valrhona Campfire - This cookie has all the classic elements of a smore! It has marshmallows, pretzels, and melted chocolate. This classic combination holds a lot of flavor and texture in one bite! Definitely enjoyable 🥨🍫🍪

Biscoff Coffee - Combination of my two favorites: Biscoff + Coffee. I super loved the texture combination of the cookie and biscoff. They complement each other very well. The Flavor is definitely spot on! Wow heaven pare! 🥰

Matchadamia Dream - This cookie has a light matcha taste that really goes well with the white chocolate and macadamia toppings. They were also very generous with white chocolate. Matcha lovers will surely love this!

I didn't get the opportunity to try their Chocolate Chip Cookies because it is sold out that day, but surely, I will go back to try it out.

Hey South Peeps! Have you seen the newly opened @24chickenph at Doña Soledad, Better Living?

Anything fried is definitely one of my go to food, and who doesn't like fried chicken right? 🍗 Their chicken is crispy on the outside and tender inside, not to mention the good variety of flavorful sauces that they offer. 😋 Flavors we tried:

24 Cheddar
Lemon Glazed
Jack Daniels
Snow Cheese

My two favorites are Lemon Glazed and Snow Cheese. Lemon Glazed has a good balance of sweetness and acidity from the lemon 🍋. We also ordered additional sauce which made it taste even better. Another must try is the Snow Cheese! Its very cheesy and savory. Its on the saltier side as compared to 24 Cheddar, which I like better. 🧀

24 Cheddar is cheesy and sweet with the powder flavoring making it taste like salted egg, which makes it so good! 🤭 Jack Daniels on the other hand is well coated with a sweet and buttery barbecue sauce.
