Our dad was craving for chicken wings and @sashim.ich and I remembered this new Korean Chicken Wings place we've been meaning to try, @wing2xph.

For PHP 499, you get unlimited wings (12 classic flavours), salad or soup, rice, and iced tea. Yes, all of these are unli!

Oh, did I mention that in each serving, you get 6 big juicy wings!

The place has a really cool and instagrammable interior that's perfect for hangouts with friends, co-workers, and family.

@wing2xph is located in 2F, B1, City Center, SM North Edsa.

@sashim.ich and I tried @liangcrispyrollph for the first time and boy, oh boy were we amazed! We tried their three bestsellers:

🌯 Braised Pork
🌯 Kimchi Beef
🌯 Buttered Chicken 🌟

The texture and taste of the wrap they used is similar to a roti prata, flaky with lots of layers. Elle and I were discussing how each roll represented a certain Asian cuisine.

Braised Pork had a touch of Japanese flavours: soy, garlic, a hint of sweetness. Kimchi Beef is self-explanatory, lol! Buttered Chicken, our most favourite, was brimming with delicious Indian spices and this even came with curry that tasted exactly like the one I used to have back when we were still living in Singapore.

Overall, I can confidently say that this place surpassed any expectations Elle and I had. @liangcrispyrollph is a store you should not pass up on!

We'll certainly comeback here to try their other two rolls!

@3lixircoffee sure has a knack in serving their drinks in an interactive way 🤯

🥃Caramel Coffee Jelly

The caramel flavor is infused with the milk and the jelly cubes are espresso shots in gelatine form. The drink is more on the sweeter side but I think you can request to have the sweetness adjusted.

It's been a while, and by a while, I meant three months since my last post-while. Oopsie 😅

@sashim.ich and I went to @kandlecafe a few days ago. Let's watch how it went.

Also, I got to play around with this cool built-in vlog editing function using @xiaomi.philippines' Xiaomi 11T!

It's the last day of 2021 and what better way to end it with a beautiful Blossom cake from @heartsnbells?

This stunning Blossom caramel cake was light and fluffy and tasted like vanilla. The caramel was milky and not too sweet and perfectly pairs the cake. The buttercream flowers were firm and held their shape well despite being in room temperature for quite a while which is perfect with the Philippines' tropical climate.

Before I end this post, I want to thank all the brands who I had the opportunity to work with this year.

Here's to more good food and memories!

Good bye, 2021!

If you like onigiri, then you should definitely try @samurice.ph!

@samurice.ph offers two types of onigiri: Japanese Classics and Spicy Korean. What makes them different from other onigiri brands is that their nori is seasoned.

Japanese Classics line includes Tuna Mayo, Salmon Mayo, and Chicken Teriyaki. I liked the Chicken Teriyaki the most due to my personal preference on sweeter flavors. I found the Tuna Mayo just a bit salty for me. On the other hand, the Salmon May was quite nice.

Out of the two, I liked the Spicy Korean line better. This includes Spicy Beef Bulgogi, Spicy Chicken Galbi, and Pork Samgyupsal. This line uses gochujang flavored rice which gives that kick of spice that I really enjoyed. Out of the three, Chicken Galbi was the spiciest.
