Swansea rapper @crazethejack has dropped a new single, Essay 1, with a music video shot at locations across the city including the Swansea.com stadium and Swansea Building Society Arena 🎤

🎬 The video’s graffiti visuals came from Ronny Oner, @onersigns owner and an artist Craze already knew from Swansea’s hip hop and graffiti scene. Ronny previously created the throw-up used as the single’s cover art, before the pair worked with Oner Productions to bring the same style to the video itself.

🎧 Craze linked up with @eattherich21 (formerly known as DJ Demo, one of Wales’s top scratch DJs) to produce the track, aiming for a heavy, anthemic sound rooted in Swansea itself - touching on the city’s struggles alongside its coastline, landmarks and potential.

💬 The track is the first to have a video filmed at Swansea Building Society Arena. Craze said: “I cannot thank the team at the arena for their patience and professionalism.” He added: “This isn’t just a hip hop song, but I think it’s showing that Swansea can glow within Wales.”

The full Essay 1 video is on YouTube and available to stream on all the usual platforms.
