Ever since this place opened in Mankau Bus Station, its always my go to place for vietnamese food especially the Banh mi!! Their foods are always delicious and honestly such a good price too 😭 Can’t help but keep coming back~ (Swipe to see different captions/reviews)

Crispy pork vermicelli
- I loveee the crispy pork!! The crackling is delicious and crunchy as well as the meat is tender ~ Theres so many noodles and salads which go well with the sauce they give you !! Super duper refreshing and incredibly light~ If your craving for a salad but with a bit of meat and sour sauce, this is highly recommended 🫶 10/10

Banh mi
- I get all the Banh Mis in a rotation but my top favourite is definitely the chicken and crispy pork!! Like the other dishes, theyre super tender and they put a lot of delicious salads in the bread. The bread is also quite crunchy but not too stale which is the best~ Literally one of the best Banh Mis ive ever had which is really fulling but also quite refreshing too 🫶 They also have a homemade sauce in there which im not too sure what it is, but it looks like a paste which also goes well with the fillings ~ 10/10

Hoi An Chicken Rice
- UGHH absolutely delicious!! The rice is incredibly soft and has a delicious chicken broth taste. The chicken straps are super soft and tender too ✨ The amount given is perfect and the tangy sauce goes so well with the rest of the main! Nothing overpowers itself and it is quite fulling but doesn’t feel too heavy :) 10/10

Iced brown
- GOSH i dream about this coffee a lot!! Ever since I started trying their coffees, I’ve tried my best to stop buying it often because of how good it is 😩 I don’t know what they put in their coffees but ITS SO GOOD!! I cant put it into words but please try it out if you are a coffee lover 🩷 10/10 taken in Manukau Bus Station by @eatwithina_

Omg another massive hit from Cocoa Wilds! They came out with a winter addition drink, which is seasonal, I believe, and it is DELICIOUS!! Yes it is pricey, but for the quality served, it’s worth it! (I’ve been here several times and the consistency with the drinks is just amazing!)

Tiramisu Hot Chocolate
- MY FAVE!! I love the big ball of mascarpone in the middle and the marshmallow ring around the cup is just peak!! The hot chocolate itself doesn’t taste too sweet and you can tell the quality of their cocoa beans~ The mascarpone in the middle goes so well with the hot chocolate/coffee and marshmallow which gives you the illusion of drinking the tiramisu! Yes you can taste the coffee, but it’s not strong as it is balanced well with the sweetness~ 10/10

Malt Hot Chocolate
- I love the chocolate mousse in the middle! I’m surprised how it didn’t melt so quickly despite the hot chocolate being hot! I found this a bit too sweet to my liking but honestly, on a cold day, this is exactly what you need! The chocolate mousse isn’t too sweet and goes super well with the marshmallow on the side~ 9/10

Petite Dubai chocolate
- The Dubai chocolate was pretty good, but it didn’t give me a big wow factor when I ate more than 2 pieces! The chocolate however, was nice and thin which you can bite into giving that perfect asmr crack! The filling was honestly pretty delicious but it felt like there were more pistachio cream than the kataifi! This makes sense because the chocolate piece is quite small but for my personal liking, I feel like if there was more kataifi, it would’ve been better 😊 8/10

Spaghetti allo scagalo, market fish, prawns, mussels, crayfish bisque
- This spahghetti is one of our faves! All the seafood toppings are top notch and the crayfish really stood out~ It was nice and tender covered in the spaghetti sauce! The sauce itself was a bit lemony and refreshing ! It doesn’t feel too heavy and nothing overpowers itself! I believe the crayfish is a seasonal dish as we ordered some recently and it didn’t have the crayfish in it! 9/10

Confit pork belly, celeriac puree, burnt Brussels sprouts, savoy cabbage
- The pork belly was quite overpowering in my opinion! The sauce was quite strong and overpowering. It felt quite heavy on the stomach but the puree was nice to eat with it to even out the strong sauce. The pork belly was cooked well and it was falling apart when cutting through~ The crackle on it was really well cooked and was the best part of the pork belly~ The brussel sprouts and cabbage on the side went really well with the pork belly~ Not a big fan favourite as something about this dish wasn’t really standing out to me but it was still yum 😋 8/10

Market fish, charred bell pepper, fennel, gourmet potatoes, creole sauce
- I love the market fish! I usually come to this restaurant not that often but every time I go, they provide different types of fish~ I think this fish was a Hoki (I may be wrong), but it was incredibly tender and goes really well with the potatoes and sauce~ The sauce is quite creamy and they give you two pieces of fish. It looks quite small for it’s price but it does fill you up quite quick if you eat it with other entrees or drinks. Sinc taken in Bucklands Beach, New Zealand by @eatwithina_

Found another lovely restaurant to dine with family and friends in Bucklands Beach~ There aren’t too many options, but their dishes are delicious! There are a lot of comments from me, so ill be breaking this down into 2 parts 😉 Part 1 (Entrees and Drinks)

Dishes below:
- Trevally, nahm jim dressing, chilli, puffed rice, furikake, wasabi cream $30

- Lamb meatballs, baba ghanoush, preserved lemons, chilli sauce, fresh herbs $29

Trevally, nahm jim dressing, chilli, puffed rice, furikake, wasabi cream
- The trevally was DELICIOUS! I love how tender it was and it wasn’t fishy either! The nah Jim dressing wasn’t too strong either, and it matches well with the wasabi cream~ The sauce felt a bit oily to me but if you eat this with other entrees, I would say it was definitely worth it! There aren’t too many flavours overpowering each other which was a massive 9/10 😊

Green-lipped mussels, white wine, cream, sourdough bread
- There are plenty of mussels in the bowl, and it goes so well with the sourdough! The white wine sauce was quite sour for me, and putting the mussels on top of the bread was perfection~ For me personally, I wasn’t a big fan of the sauce, but my family thought differently! They loved it, as it was a good amount of sourness~ 8/10

Lamb meatballs, baba ghanoush, preserved lemons, chilli sauce, fresh herbs
- I honestly liked this meatball, and the great thing about it was it didn’t taste like lamb? (If that makes sense). There wasn’t any meaty taste of the lamb, which caught me off by surprise, as some lamb dishes I tried have that lingering taste of lamb. This meatball didn’t have it, which was lovely~ I felt like there was some sort of punch that was missing in the dish, but I’m not sure what it was~ Yes, it was yum, but there wasn’t anything that made me go WOW !! 8/10

Iced vanilla latte
- OH MY WORD, do you see the layers? I’ve never seen coffee that has these perfect layers!!! I was so excited when this came out (it’s BEAUTIFUL!!). The lo by @eatwithina_

A new matcha shop opened in New Market right next to Glassons and they really set the vibe there~ Cha-n-wa is the name of the shop and here are my thoughts below:

Matcha triple chocolate sundae
- OMG!! The sundae was DELICIOUS!! I absolutely love this and it beats any other sundae I’ve had before~ The matcha ice cream was delicious and the matcha was strong AS IT SHOULD BE!! The matcha cake on the side was super light and fluffly. It wasn’t dense at all either :) The matcha cake has a good matcha taste just like the ice cream. I also love the jelly at the bottom and it goes well with the rest of the sundae. 10/10 🥰

Pure matcha
- Not a fan favourite of this one! Yes the matcha was really nice and I could taste it, however, the water used is tap water. This is just a me thing but I cannot drink tap water (even if it’s filtered). The taste is just not for me ! 7/10 🤣

Iced matcha latte w sugar
- Honestly, this matcha latte was pretty good! I love how strong the matcha is and the milk wasn’t overpowering the matcha~ However, when I was mixing the latte, I could feel a bit of a powdery consistency when drinking it. It did go away after I drank more. The price of the matcha isn’t too bad as some places definitely charge a whole lot more but I would say it was worth it :) 9/10 💕

Love this shop, I wish they had this closer to where I live 😭 Maggie’s bakery is such a good place to relax with friends to have a cup of coffee and eat some delicious cake~ The big thing about this cake is that it is not too heavy and they really do execute the flavours really well :) I’m a huge fan of this place~ The location in New Market also has a cat cafe above and I would LOVE to go! The cats there are adorable and you can see them relaxing in the sun! Super duper cute!! Anyways, here is what I think about their cakes:

Nama Chocolate matcha cake
- Not bad at all! I had high hopes for this cake because it should be nama! Nama chocolate is literally ‘raw’ chocolate in japanese! I love the little nama chocolate on the top but to me, it was a nice chocolate matcha cake. You can really taste the matcha and chocolate which had the perfect balance between the two flavours~ For me personally, I would have prefer the the chocolate and matcha to me more of a soft filling type of cake, rather than it being a sponge~ That’s just my personal preference:) the cream was also really nice and smooth which makes up for the nama part ! Super delish 8/10

Dubai chocolate cake
- I love the crunch of the kataifi in the cake! It was perfectly crunchy and really does give the vibe/taste of the original dubai chocolate that was trending~ They executed this cake really well and the balance between the cake and the sponge was just perfect! What I like about this cake is that it is not too sweet and doesn’t feel quite heavy as you would expect. The slice is also quite big so for this price, I would say it is definitely worth it~ My top cake at Maggie’s so far :) 9/10

Honestly, you can’t go wrong with early grey tea! It tastes the same as what you would buy an by @eatwithina_

Saw this place popping off on socials and we are a big seafood lover so we decided to get the 3 amgios set for $55 (+$10 for delivery). It comes with marinated crab, salmkn, prawn, rice, seaweed, and seafood sauce :) Here are our thoughts:

Marinated Crab🦀
- I absolutely love crabs and even though this looks quite small, there’s a decent amount of crab meat~ It was incredibly fresh and goes really well with rice and the sauce 🤩 There were a good bunch of crabs given and all of them had a good amount of crab meat! The shell was quite soft and easy to break into! 8/10

Marinated Salmon 🍣
- Big salmon lover and it was very fresh :) I wish they put in a bit more salmon and I found it a bit spicy but still , it was quite delicious! Eating this with the seafood sauce was really good! Reminds me of the spices Thai restaurants use 🤩

Marinated Prawn 🦐
- Loved this prawn too and love how they removed the parts of the prawn and left the tail as it was so the meat wouldn’t fall off~ Very considerate of them :) Honestly, quite fresh and it tastes the same as the other sauce✨ 8/10

Personally for me, I found the marinated sauce a bit too strong and it was all I could taste :)

I absolutely love the dumplings from Sue’s Dim Sum in CBD! They have the best xiao long baos (pork soup dumpling) in Auckland~ The two lovely ladies running this store are AMAZING!! I do hope they make the building bigger as it is quite small :)

Xiao long bao
- There’s a really good amount of soup inside and the filling is just perfect 🤩 The soup is very hot and has a nice soothing taste :) Its not too strong or too light in flavour ! Just the perfect amount. I honestly could eat this everyday if I could 😩 10/10 NOTE: Theres also a sweet soup version of this :)

Pork and Prawn stick rice shao-mai
- I wasn’t too sure about this one when I first tried it because I never had a shao-mai with rice in it. BUT OMG!!! Absolutely love this and I order it every single time 🤩 The sticky rice is exactly how youd imagine it to taste but the prawn and pork filling is spreaded around instead of it being in the centre ! I love how the shao-mai skin is soft and it acts like a ‘wrapper’holding the rice. Of course you can eat the dumpling skin hehe 10/10

Pan-fried pork bao bun
- Another big favourite of mine!! Its similar to the xiao long bao as theres a really good amount of soup in the bao buns~ This is quite fulling as the baos are quite thick! Its super hot and theres a chunck of meat in the middle which is absolutely delicious!! The meat tastes like the soup (similar to the soup dumplings - a nice, warm, kind taste pretty hard to describe haha) 10/10 🩷

We usually don’t go to Tsujii but we went as a family this day and decided to try some drinks and desserts~

Warabimochi parfait
- Omg, I wish they had a bigger version of this LOL!! As someone who doesn’t really like black sesame, I honestly felt like this was delicious!! The sesame ice cream isn’t too strong or too weak in taste, it had the perfect balance 😊 I like how the mochi was also quite soft and the monaka was nice and crunchy, lives up to its name! The combination that they had for this parfait was no doubt a really good decision because everything matches together! I would also say it wasn’t too sweet which was nice~ Having a nice hot green tea with this would be a match made in heaven 🥰 8/10

Biscoff matcha latte
- Unfortunately, I was not a fan of this at all. Yes, I could taste the Biscoff, but no, I couldn’t taste the matcha 😟 It was incredibly light in flavour and it felt like I was drinking Biscoff-flavoured milk? I was excited to try this one, but this was not for me :D 5/10

Cinnamon matcha maple latte
- The cinnamon maple latte was okay! All we could taste was cinnamon but no matcha D: It was also incredibly light in flavour… Not for me ! It still tastes quite good but since it was advertised as a “matcha” latte, it did not live up to it! 5/10

I went past this cute coffee shop a couple of times and decided to try it out~ It really didn’t disappoint! The interior was just amazing and calming~ It looks like a hair salon at first 🤣 Here are my thoughts below:

Iced matcha strawberry 🍓
- Honestly, this drink was quite delicious! I love how the strawberry wasn’t too over whelming and the foam at the top was one of the best 💕I do wish the matcha was more stronger (personal preference!!). Otherwise, everything tasted really good and you can taste the quality of the matcha~ It isn’t one of those cheap ones you buy in at the supermarket:) 8/10

Hot chocolate 🍫
- This hot chocolate was quite delicious but for me, it was quite light in taste. It tastes more like milk but still quite soul warming ! 7/10

Biscoff latte ☕️
- I really have a serious Biscoff condition.. Anything Biscoff is delicious and this was a hit!! They even gave me a Biscoff biscuit with the coffee 🥹 At first, I couldn’t really taste the Biscoff but after mixing the latte, I could taste it. The Biscoff wasn’t too strong which was really nice and it wasn’t overly sweet~ The latte was quite strong but make sure to mix the Biscoff as it can sometimes sink to the bottom. Honestly, favorite drink so far 💕 9/10

Breakfast wrap 🍽️
- I loved this wrap and it was quite fulling 🤣 I was struggling to finish it (probably because I was drinking the Biscoff latte on the side), but you can go nothing wrong with it :) The potato (hash brown) with the salad inside the wrap was so good 🥰 They also added some scrambled eggs in the wrap ~ Nice and simple !! They also give you two wraps (cut in half). 7/10 ⚡️
