Ye Skewer Hot Pot is currently offering an unlimited pop drinks promotion starting now until December 31st. Definitely pairs perfectly with hotpot.

Absolutely loved the service here, staff were super friendly as well as the different variety of food options offered at the AYCE.

Broths picked were the Tomato and Legend Spicy Hot Pot in Medium spice. Both were great options and were not overly salty, filled with umami🤤

The soft serve ice cream was definitely a nice way to end off. I also loved how they had mini dessert bar with cakes and fried buns with condensed milk.

You won’t want to miss out on this promotion and hotpot is definitely the perfect comfort food this winter!!

Merry Christmas 🎄. Went here for Christmas Dinner. On open table they had reservations for 8:00pm so we booked it for 8:00. I should’ve checked their closing hours but personally if you’re closing at 9pm don’t have reservations available for 8:00 and 8:15. We got there a bit early and was seated right away (there were empty tables). Ordered quite a few dishes for everyone to try. The iced latte my dad said was great and I had the lime soda/mint drink. Ordered the Truffle Fries, Shrimp Tacos, Thai Style Fried Chicken, Lemongrass Pork Jowl, Spaghetti Funghi, and beef bourguignon. Everything kind of just tasted average … I would say the best fish was the Spaghetti Funghi. Nothing really wowed me. Service was kinda meh… I feel like the staff didn’t want to be there. I get it’s Christmas Day but if you’ve decided to open your doors for customers I would expect better service.. anyways by 8:30 they said it was last call. Started offering to put our food in takeout containers and even asked us to settle the bill… I feel like they could’ve said hey sorry but we are closing could you please settle the bill would’ve been a better way. I didn’t feel like the staff handled closing properly… if anything my family felt like we were being kicked out. Plus food was honestly mediocre at best minus the fact their beverages were surprisingly tasty. Overall I’m not sure if I’d be back but food wasn’t bad at all… it just wasn’t mind blowing or anything.. prices were ok. We had a table of 5 the bill came up to be $275 which personally I found decent for the amount of food/drinks that were ordered. The beef bourguinon was very bland so it’s not a dish I would recommend. The menu is also quite unique.

It’s been so long since I’ve posted but @golslanzhounoodlegta definitely deserves a mention for my books. I’ve visited Gols at their Waterloo location and I’m so happy to see they finally have a Markham location!! Their signature beef noodle is my go to with their thickest noodle ( I forgot what it’s called but it’s like a curtain noodle) . Their chicken cartilage is also worth a mention, super tasty with the perfect spice, sweet, and savoury flavours🤤🤤. I wish I took a picture but my tummy ate first instead of my camera. I’m a no cilantro no green onion girly so it looks a little plain but trust me it was flavourful!!

Definitely going to be one of my go to for comfort food and I highly recommend you to try Gols if you’ve never been!

visited Happy Lamb Hotpot for dinner on a weekday and decided to upgrade to the premium beef. We chose two soup bases: half tomato and half spicy butter. Unfortunately, I was a bit disappointed. Despite the upgrade, the beef quality was not impressive. While there was a variety of sides to choose from, both broths were quite bland and tasted like water. It felt like I was just boiling my meat and veggies in flavorless water.

The service was practically non-existent; the servers seemed to purposely avoid contact with customers, making it very difficult to get their attention. The ambiance was okay, and I admit the prices are cheaper compared to other hotpot places. However, I was so unsatisfied that I went to another hotpot restaurant three days later to satisfy my cravings.

I wouldn’t recommend this place and definitely won’t be coming back. ⭐️2/5 taken in Happy Lamb Hot Pot, Scarborough 快乐小羊 by @eatwithjoy.ce

LALA Bakeshop has just released 3 new variants of their delicious Vietnamese Iced Coffee🤤. Durian, Salted Cream, and Pandan. Honestly can’t go wrong with any of these flavours. Love their original and was pleasantly surprised with how delicious these combinations were 🤤. While you’re at @lalabakeshop.ca make sure to grab a delicious croissant or a mini cake to pair with your drink. Which flavour would you pick 😋?.

Super stoked to get my hands on a bottle of Chilli Oil from @chloesconvenience . They were sold out last time it was released. If you’re a fan of chilli oil you must try @chloesconvenience Chilli Oil. Super aromatic and the spice definitely hits the spot 🤤. While you’re there definitely try their HK bagged noodles, the savoury sauce is super addicting!

Who loves Thai food?! I know I do!!🤤

There’s been more Thai spots opening up in the GTA, no complaints here.

We had reservations prior to arriving to @sukhothaifood . It was busy on a Friday night. We were seated right on time without having to wait. The host was attentive and polite, who doesn’t love great customer service am I right?

The flavours of the Tom Yum soup tasted a little off to me, the garlic nuggets weren’t anything special but damn when the mains came 🤤. I enjoyed every bite of the Khao Soi with delicious coconut notes. The Pad Thai was also tasty. There were some other appetizers I am looking forward to try the next time I’m back at @sukhothaifood . Happy Monday💕💕

@lalabakeshop.ca never disappoints and they have just rolled out with new croissant flavours 🤤

✨Captured here (top to bottom)
✨Durian ( Durian was on slightly bitter to pair perfectly with the sweet salted egg cream filling inside)
✨Almond ( This was definitely my favourite 🤤 with the perfect crunchy texture on top)
✨Garlic Butter (Fragrant on the garlic mixed with butter a great savoury option)
✨Coconut (filled with custard cream)

Honestly none of these flavours missed, the one the stood out to me most was the Almond and Garlic Butter.

Highly recommend and while you’re at @lalabakeshop.ca make sure to pick up their Cafe Sua Da (Vietnamese Iced Coffee)😊

As the song goes, I’m addicted and I just can’t get enough🤤. One of my favourite poke spots @pokepokegta now has sushi rolls available 🤤

✨Karaage Poke Bowl (topped with spicy mayo and yuzu shoyu, umami heaven)

Loved the Endless Summer Roll and honestly the rest of the food was outstanding too. Poke Poke makes the best Karaage Bowl in the GTA hands down in my opinion as well👏🏻. I highly reccomend trying our their sushi rolls, they will not disappoint for all my sushi lovers out there.

Perfect to order on the go with their gorgeous packaging or @pokepokegta also offers seats for you to eat comfortably✨

U-DON want to miss out on some comfort food at @sanukiudontoronto . Sanuki Udon makes their batches of udon daily, cooking the udon for approximately 10 minutes to keep the chewy texture. A choice of cold or hot broth✨

Chicken Kaarage (Juicy and crunchy)
Wagyu Beef Udon (A Smokey and sweet taste)
Pork Belly Udon (Smokey as well)

Overall the service was excellent and ambience was nice and relaxing. A little sad their Katsu Curry Udon was sold out, I definitely have to come back earlier in the day to try this🥺. All dishes were enjoyable but my favourite was definitely the Wagyu Beef Udon, a must try👏🏻
