This place brings you straight back to the streets of Hongdae, Korea 🇰🇷✨

If you’re planning a visit, go on a Monday because all premium meats are 50% OFF every Monday for the rest of 2026.

Here’s everything we ordered:
🥩 Premium meats — Oyster Blade, Bavette, Hanger Steak & Short Rib. These were the highlight of the meal - incredibly tender, juicy, and packed with flavour. My absolute faves!

🧀🌶️ Sizzling Chilli Cheese Chicken — the best dish of the night. Crispy fried chicken smothered in gooey cheese with the perfect spicy kick.

🥔 Jinju-style Beef Tartare on Hashbrown — crispy hashbrown topped with fresh, well-seasoned beef tartare. Such a unique combination.

🥬 Korean Water Parsley Pancake with Prawn — crispy on the outside, soft inside, with plenty of prawns.

🍚 Cup Ramyun Fried Rice — a fun twist on fried rice with nostalgic Korean ramyun flavours.

🌽 Sweet Corn Fritter — crispy, cheesy, and perfect for sharing.

🍵 Matcha Makgeolli — a must-order! Creamy, refreshing, and the perfect drink to pair with all the BBQ.

🍨 We finished with Nokcha Ice Cream and Banana Oo-yoo Ice Cream, which were the perfect sweet ending to an amazing feast.

Hidden gem Chinese restaurant in Haymarket 🇨🇳

This is not your usual Chinese restaurant. The space is beautifully designed with traditional Chinese elements that make you feel like you’ve stepped into China, and the dishes here are thoughtfully crafted and unique.

What we ordered:

🥣 Double Steamed Chicken Soup with Dry Fish Maw & Dried Scallop ($32.80)
Light, nourishing broth that’s double-steamed for hours. The flavour is incredibly pure and comforting.

🍤 Amber Walnut King Prawn with Mayo ($44.80)
Fresh, juicy and crunchy prawns coated in creamy mayo with sweet amber walnuts. One of my favourites.

🥬 Spinach with Salted & Preserved Egg ($34.80)
Super comforting dish. The creamy preserved egg pairs perfectly with the spinach.

🍚 Stir Fried Glutinous Rice with Chinese Sausage ($36.80)
Fragrant and savoury with lots of flavour from the Chinese sausage.

🍖 Sweet & Sour Pork Ribs ($44.80)
Crispy ribs coated in a glossy sweet and tangy sauce. Classic and satisfying.

🍵 Chrysanthemum Tea with Qizi ($6.80)
Light and refreshing, perfect to balance the meal.

🍖 Porchetta — SO good and definitely one I’d order again ⭐️

🍵 Blueberry Matcha — $12
🥐 Pastries — almond croissant, Milo Boston donut, brownie & more.

Honestly, everything we tried was amazing — but if you only order two things, get the chorizo eggs + porchetta. You won’t regret it. 👀

Had such a wonderful experience at Lumi Head Spa 🤍

I booked the 70-minute Signature Head Spa, which included a lymphatic face, neck & shoulder massage, facial massage with a jade tool, double shampoo cleanse, hair conditioning, nourishing hair treatment, head massage and their signature waterfall scalp therapy.

What I loved most was how relaxing the whole experience felt. The space felt private, clean and comfortable, which made it so easy to completely switch off for 70 minutes.

The treatment flowed so seamlessly, and my scalp felt incredibly clean while my hair was so soft afterwards. I left feeling refreshed from head to toe and honestly didn’t want it to end 🥹✨

I personally love a stronger massage, so next time I’d probably ask for a bit more pressure during the head massage! But overall, such a lovely experience and the perfect way to unwind🤍

A new Chinese spot at Sydney Fish Market 🥢🦀

If you have family visiting Sydney, I’d definitely put Sydney Fish Market on the itinerary — and Tin Tin Seafood Harbour is a great option if you’re looking for modern Chinese cuisine with a beautiful harbour view.

They offer modern Chinese dishes and yum cha, alongside fresh seafood including lobster, crabs, live fish, live abalone, prawns, pipis and other shellfish.

What stood out to me most was the food quality + the location and ambience. It’s also a great option for family gatherings, private dining and group functions.

What we ordered:

🥩 Wok-Fried Black Angus Beef — $45
My fave of the night! The beef was CRAZY tender and almost melt-in-your-mouth. So easy to chew.

🦑 Salt & Pepper Squid — $38
Perfect texture — tender without being chewy, with really nice seasoning and a hint of chilli.

🐟 Deep-Fried Chinese Noodle Fish with Pepper Salt — $22
My aunty’s fave! You rarely see this dish around. Super crispy and reminds me of whitebait.

🥬 Water Spinach with Belacan — $26
The belacan sauce was the highlight for me — savoury, fragrant and slightly spicy.

🍮 Wolfberry & Osmanthus Jelly — $15
A refreshing way to finish the meal.

Found this Cantonese spot in Mascot serving traditional claypot dishes with that smoky wok hei flavour — perfect for a family dinner or a catch-up with friends.

A seafood feast just hits different when it’s with the fam 🦐🦀🦪

Spent my Saturday at Boatshed Pyrmont with the family and honestly, this seafood platter for two was so worth it🥹

Fresh oysters, tiger prawns, blue swimmer crab, calamari, scallops, BBQ octopus, gemfish + chips — basically a little bit of everything. 🦐🦀🐙

We went for the Seafood Platter for Two ($130) and it was more than enough for us to share alongside a few other things.

Nothing fancy, just good seafood, good food, and a well-spent Saturday with the fam🤍

I think I just found a seriously underrated spot in Mascot 👀

Honestly, everything we ordered at Dining Co was SO delicious — but the pork ribs were the standout for me🥹 The meat was sooo tender, and they even serve it with corn ribs on the side. A whole 650g half rack + corn ribs for $39? What a deal! 🤌🏻

The creamy pasta was another favourite — so rich, creamy and packed with flavour 🍝

And you HAVE to save room for the Dubai Chocolate Pancake. Thick, soft pancakes topped with pistachio sauce, toasted kunafa, ice cream and Belgian chocolate… it was on another level🤤💚

The drinks were great too:
🥭 Iced Mango Matcha Latte — $10
🍫 Iced Belgium Chocolate Mocha Frappe — $11
☕️ Iced Tiramisu Latte — $11
