PHLUR — HONEY MOON

Released in 2026 and created by perfumer Elena Valdivieso Ruiz, Honey Moon is built around mandarin, lavender, manuka honey, orange blossom, saffron, vanilla, tonka bean and sandalwood.

She smells like:
Warm honey drizzled over soft florals, with creamy vanilla and a touch of spice lingering on the skin.

Sister vs Sister:
Nadia: 7.5/10
Ingrid: 7/10

We’d wear it:
On a slow golden afternoon, somewhere warm, with bare skin and a glass of wine in hand.

Our take:
Sweet, warm and comforting without feeling overly sugary. The honey is the star, softened by florals, vanilla and sandalwood.

Sillage: Soft to moderate
Longevity: Around 4–6 hours

LATTAFA — NEBRAS ELIXIR

Released in 2025 and created by perfumer Nanako Ogi, Nebras Elixir is a creamy gourmand built around milk candy, whipped cream, sugar cane, vanilla and musk.

She smells like:
Whipped vanilla cream, soft milk candy and powdered sugar; fluffy, cosy and very sweet.

Sister vs Sister:
Ingrid: 7/10
Nadia: 8.5/10

We’d wear it:
On a cosy day, or layered under another vanilla for extra sweetness and creaminess.

Our take:
Sweet, milky and easy to wear. It’s not overly complex, but that’s part of the appeal: a soft, comforting gourmand with great layering potential.

Sillage: Moderate
Longevity: Approx. 6–8 hours

Eau De Soeur went scent hunting at SKINS Sandton — putting our noses to a few new launches and some fragrances that have been sitting firmly on our must-try list.

This time we explored Byredo’s Future Memories, Kilian’s Rolling in Love, EX Nihilo’s Fleur Narcotique Extrait, and Lust in Paradise.

Four very different fragrances, four beautiful interpretations, and plenty to talk about. Some surprised us, some lived up to the hype, and some may just have earned a place on the wishlist.

DIPTYQUE — PHILOSYKOS EAU DE PARFUM

Created by perfumer Olivia Giacobetti, the original Philosykos Eau de Toilette was released in 1996, inspired by a summer spent crossing wild fig groves on Greece’s Mount Pelion. Its name means “friend of the fig tree” in Greek. The richer, sweeter and creamier Eau de Parfum interpretation followed in 2012.

She smells like
A fig tree warmed by the Mediterranean sun — green leaves, milky sap and smooth pale wood carried on the breeze.

Sister vs Sister
Ingrid: 9/10
Nadia: 8.7/10

We’d wear it
Barefoot at a whitewashed villa, with the windows open and the afternoon stretching endlessly ahead.

Our take
Philosykos isn’t simply a sweet fig fragrance, it captures the entire tree. It opens green and leafy, with the almost milky texture of fig sap, before settling into something smooth, woody and quietly earthy. The Eau de Parfum is richer, sweeter and creamier than the Eau de Toilette, but remains beautifully natural, understated and serene. A modern classic for a reason.

KAYALI FREEDOM MUSK SANTAL ✨

Another beautiful creation in true KAYALI style, soft, sensual and effortlessly comforting.

Freedom Musk Santal blends creamy sandalwood, delicate musk, aromatic lavender and a subtle sparkle of pink pepper to create a scent that feels both intimate and quietly confident. It is warm without being heavy, musky without becoming too powdery, and has that wonderfully familiar “your skin, but better” quality.

This is the kind of fragrance that does not need to shout to get your attention. It sits close to the skin, draws people in and feels incredibly easy to wear. Whether you are heading out for coffee, spending a slow Sunday at home or simply want to smell beautifully put together without trying too hard.

It is also a very good shmoop for Valaya by Parfums de Marly, offering a similar clean, musky and softly luxurious feel at a more accessible price point. It is not an exact match, but it certainly lives in the same beautifully polished fragrance family.

Comforting, calming and just a little bit addictive… consider this the fragrance equivalent of a soft cashmere hug. 🤍

ZARA — SUGAR FOAM

Released in 2025, Sugar Foam is part of Zara’s sweeter gourmand offering, built around freesia, marshmallow, coconut and pink sugar. The result is exactly as the name suggests: light, fluffy and unapologetically sugary.

She smells like:
A cloud of powdered sugar, whipped marshmallow and soft coconut — sweet, fluffy and almost impossibly light.

Sister vs Sister:
Ingrid: 6/10
Nadia: 7/10

We’d wear it:
On an easy, playful day when we just want to smell sweet or layered underneath another gourmand when it needs an extra dusting of sugar.

Our take:
Sugar Foam is fairly linear and doesn’t develop dramatically on the skin, but that almost works in its favour. It’s an easy, fun gourmand with surprisingly good performance, and a great option for layering. Definitely one for the serious sweet-tooth fragrance lover though, if you don’t love sugar, this may be too much, and it can lean a little youthful.

Sillage: Moderate to strong
Longevity: Approx. 5+ hours, with particularly good staying power on clothing.

MIU MIU — FLEUR DE LAIT

Originally released in 2023, and relaunched in 2026, Fleur de Lait is Miu Miu’s creamy tropical scent, inspired by the Asian dessert Mango Pomelo Sago and built around notes of mango, osmanthus and coconut milk.

She smells like:
Golden skin, tropical fruit and something milky lingering in the heat.

Sister vs Sister:
Nadia: 7/10
Ingrid: 6.5/10

We’d wear it:
Lounging at a beach club, tropical cocktail in hand, with nowhere else to be.

Sillage: Soft
Longevity: Approx. 4 hours
