My first @capcityhalf (Quarter, obvi) as I train and prep for the Columbus Half Marathon. Didn’t run all April outside of treadmill workouts as part of an April challenge with @studiotorch and still pulled off a pace close to my Broad Street Run @ibxrun10 and #peachtreeroadrace mile paces!

That’s a wrap on 2025!
1. Embracing all of the lessons of the past year and welcoming the opportunities ahead
2. Apple picking finally went right. Not pictured: The Applecrisp-off

4. Getting another punch on my Unc Card by learning dominoes. OG was clearing house but got pissed when I finally got a win!
5. Got caught SMHing when I realized Johnson C. Smith hadn’t brought their full band with them
6. Pro tip: when you see the picture man during a run, if you salute or something they’ll always snap and publish. I’m sure dude here thought I was doing a “Hang Ten”

Checked out Witch City—Salem, Mass. to see what all the fuss and the history was about and it didn’t really disappoint! The Witch Museum was informative as a launchpad, we survived a mock witch trial that some other folks in the audience certainly did NOT make it through, saw some sights, and even met up with some of the Howard/Miami crew. Salem was ultimately like those small towns in scary movies that really love Halloween, bring the whole town out for it, and then get surprised when something weird happens on that day because a group of Teens got bored. Not enough good costumes, but people were festive enough. Might go again and hit the real tourist traps, but I wanted to really learn about their history on this trip and did. Shout out to Ancestor Tituba who as a slave might’ve started all this hysteria, but got away with her life in the end! #Halloween #Salem #Witch #WitchCity #Spooky taken in Salem, Massachusetts by @eazyxbake
