| conversed with a friend yesterday who said “This Christmas thing. It’s just all fun and vibes”, and couldn’t really tell the significance of Christmas celebrations and many of us assume we know this too!

We celebrate Christmas either as a tradition or as a holiday season🥺, and we are slowly loosing its deeply rooted significance.

Matthew 1:21: She will give birth to a son, and you shall call him Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins.
Christmas is about one of the Godhead coming as sinful flesh to show us the way (through a life he lived on
earth) back to God!

Jesus came to show us it is possible to overcome Sin in the flesh in our own lives !!!

If this isn’t what I want to be celebrating every year, I don’t know what else oh!.
Christmas is the beginning of our Victory Story!!!
Hallelujah.

God’s mindfulness of us, is in every thing; from where we live(location), to our jobs, to the people he places around us per time, to who we get married to, our kids, our families, the church he leads us to.

For a long time I had wrestled or questioned some things, Some leadings of the spirit do not just add up based on our carnal calculations, especially when you do your 1+1😂

But God began teaching me, would a sheep tell its shepherd the food it’s meant to feed it to grow, Definitely Not!. This has taught me, as a sheep, to trust where God has placed me even when it doesn’t make sense.

God began to teach me that it was never in those things in and of themselves, but rather a hidden work that was supposed to be done in me through these things.

Most times a lack of understanding forces us to wrestle our way out because of flesh’s incompatibility with the leadings of the spirit. We miss out on the spiritual growth that was meant to be done in us. by @eb.bie_

Happy Convocation To Me🥰

Had my Induction Ceremony late October last Year, and My Graduation from University of Lagos today.

I have gotten a lot of how’s life after school questions, a question while I was in school I would always ask myself with all my juicy plans in my head😅.

Lately, In my answer to that question, I keep saying life after school is definitely better. Not better because my juicy plans are playing out (in short they are not), but better because God is playing out as I am yielding.

God keeps saying it’s not about your plans, your purposes and your pursuits but about my plans and my purpose to make you like me.

And this new phase for me is another means to allow God fulfill he’s plan, to allow God shine light on my hidden lusts, hidden passions and fire in my soul that are not aligning with he’s ultimate will for me.

Over time, I have realized that there is so much to be grateful for, especially when we consciously live in our individual process of life without comparisons and competition.

A lesson God taught me last year, and continues to teach me, is that thanksgiving should not only be a response to major events or happenings. While we should certainly thank God specially for those moments, thanksgiving should be a defining characteristic of a believer's life, not limited to exciting momentary occurrences.

I am incredibly grateful for 2023, its ups and downs, for the calm moments, the exciting moments, the not so happy moments, I am grateful for growth attained spiritually and physically. I am specially
grateful for family, friends and spiritual covering.

It’s a wrappp😭🥺🥳

I find this excitement, one welling up deep from my spirit, there’s so much thanksgiving and rejoicing, that I came to school and I found and connected the path to life through much mercy and grace.

This has shown me how God will and is constantly using our natural activities (school, friends, marriage, career, family anything at all: name it) to enable us find him, to enable us connect and get the life that is in him.
Only when we do not see these activities as the achievements or see those activities as the end or as the reward.

I am grateful, that by mercy I was captured in the days of my youth to seek God, to follow God, to learn of him and to do his will. by @eb.bie_

2022 Wrap🫶

Last year in one word for me was CHANGE
That moment when you think you have known or have attained a certain measure as you grow in seeking God but you get into knowing and seeking him only to see how there’s so so much to know, still so much to become.
It’s exciting, yet humbling.
Every single day so far has had me really reflecting on how God wants to really teach us he’s ways, how God wants to write he’s laws in our hearts until that’s all we can live out.
I have seen how giving myself continuously to the word and to doctrine has and is transforming who I am.

Yet all I keep hearing is, you have no idea, your mind cannot imagine what I want to work in you in this year.
But will you let me?
