And just like that, ya girl has mastered it🥹 Lord knows I put blood, sweat, and tooooo many tears into getting this degree but I did it! Going back to school 8 years after undergrad was a journey, let me tell you lol but with God on my side and my family’s support I was able to get through. Honestly it still hasn’t set in that I’m actually done, it still feels like I have an assignment just waiting for me around the corner but hopefully that goes away soon 😂 until then, I’m about to enjoy having my life back and I’m celebrating all summer 😎

Still on cloud 9 about the best day of my life, the day I married my soulmate 💙 there aren’t enough words to describe just how elated I am. All of the love from our family and friends was felt from beginning to end and that energy was so pure. Thank you to everybody that traveled from various parts of Louisiana and Texas to celebrate with ✨my husband✨ and I, we love y’all 🫶🏾🫶🏾 man…a time was truly had and I can’t stop looking at all of the pictures and videos I have so far. This feeling is truly unmatched. Special shoutout to our glam squad that helped make our day beautiful:

@prettystunningbeauty took on EIGHT faces completely by herself and not only got us ready in time for pictures but had every single lady feeling themselves 💅🏾

@thecure_isinthecut executed my dream style to PERFECTION and when I tell you that bun didn’t move an inch all night 🙌🏾 she also stepped in to help a few others last minute and it was definitely appreciated

Looking forward to spending the rest of my life as Mrs. Hubbard. I’s married now 😁

3 years as The Hubbards 🥹

Happy anniversary to my other half, my favorite person in the entire world, my ✨husband✨. It’s crazy to think about the fact that we’ve essentially been together our entire adult lives. From 22 to now, there hasn’t been a single moment where I’ve imagined spending the rest of my life with anyone but you. Clearly I’m one of God’s favorites because He really handcrafted the perfect man just for me. You bring joy to every day and I’d choose you in every lifetime. Happy Global Running Day! 🏃🏾‍♀️

I got into long distance running in August of 2019 and never looked back lol. Since then I’ve done too many 5k and 10k races to count and 5 half marathons with 2 more planned for the end of the year - life comes at you fast 😅. Running has taught me to trust my body, push my limits, and there’s no such thing as a completely flat race lol. Cheers to the lessons learned and people I’ve met so far on this journey 🥂 this is only the beginning 🙂‍↔️

Skyline 10k had all the elements tryna take us out this morning 😅. Started out just vibing in the rain but after a bit too much thunder and lightning (and a severe weather alert mid-race 😬) I was like ok let’s kick it in lol. Ebony - 1, Muva Nature - 0 🙂‍↔️

3/27/26 - Houston Hyrox Relay with mama bear and my little seesters 🥰

Friday night (that 9:20pm wave time was very disrespectful btw 🫠) we took on the relay with me on ski/row, Ash on sled push/farmer’s carry, Karyn on sled pull/sandbag lunges, and mama bear on burpee broad jumps/wall balls. I’m still working on peer pressuring someone into doing a race with me but I got Hyrox for now so I’m happy 😁. We came, we saw, we conquered, and we absolutely should do it again 🙂‍↔️

11/23/25 - Dallas Hyrox Women’s Doubles

Better to have a late recap than no recap at all, right? 😅 well in November, @titanshape_ and I competed in our first Hyrox! I’d heard of Hyrox but didn’t realize how big it was until I went to buy a ticket and the 10,000 people in front of me in the queue bought them up within minutes 💀. Ironically enough, within a couple days of meeting Tania, she mentioned looking for a doubles partner and it was game on from there 🙂‍↔️. Doing 8k of running between 8 different stations was a new type of challenge but I loved (almost) every second of it and we👏🏾 did 👏🏾that 👏🏾. I still have a personal vendetta against burpee broad jumps and wall balls but I guess you can say I’ve been bitten by the Hyrox bug because it’s lowkey addicting lol. Visiting Selma wasn’t something I ever thought I’d do but I’m so glad that I did. Being there brought realness to the stories I’ve heard and the history I was taught. The experience was informative, heartbreaking, and also a moment of pride. The standout moment was walking across the Edmund Pettus bridge, the site of Bloody Sunday. There aren’t words to describe the myriad of emotions I felt, you’d just have to experience it for yourself - ESPECIALLY as a Black American. Let Selma continue to be a reminder of where we’ve come from and what’s been sacrificed.

Full transparency y’all, this race was HARD. My relay leg (the longest of the 9 😅) started in the middle of the morning and running on the side of the highway with lots of sun and heat is not for the weak 🥴 it really put into perspective just how significant the march from Selma to Montgomery was. No running gear, no energy gels, just perseverance and the will to keep moving. Reflecting on that pushed me all the way to the exchange point those last 3.6 miles, when the less than ideal conditions had me wanting to stop. This relay was a reminder that when your goal is on the other side of hard, sometimes being uncomfortable is just the name of the game.
