For the past couple of months, I’ve been unemployed, and it’s hit me harder than I thought it would.

There’s definitely a stigma around being unemployed, and for a while I felt like I was the only one struggling.

But the more I looked into the UK job market, the more I realised how many people are in the same position.

We’re in a “low hire, low fire” market, fewer companies are hiring, while more people are competing for the jobs that are available.

Being in my mid-20s and watching everyone around me move forward in their careers can feel incredibly lonely.

So while I figure out what’s next, I thought I’d give content creation a proper go.

I have no idea where this is going, but I guess I’ll find out 🤍
