🎁 BIRTHDAY BOOK HAUL 🎁 Yesterday, I turned 33. It always rains on my bday. Special s/o to @tonic_itsme for being my bday twin & brightening my day! Even though the weather spoiled some of our plans I still got 3 of my fave things: 🍱 Delicious sushi dinner 📖 Books from my local @2ndandcharles 🦋 New butterflies spotted in our wild flower garden I picked up all of these second hand for $48 and one is even signed! That’s a steal & I’m so excited to add these to my shelf. Where they’re going to go on said shelf…that’s a problem for another day😅 Books bought: ⭐️Immortal Longings by Chloe Gong ⭐️Deal With The Elf King by Elise Kova ⭐️Unsteady by Peyton Corinne ⭐️Once More With Feeling by Elissa Sussman ⭐️The Graham Effect by Elle Kennedy ⭐️Good Girl Complex by E.K. ⭐️Bad Girl Reputation by E.K. 🎤 I specifically bought Once More With Feeling because I liked the look of the cover! ❓Have you read any of these? Do you read reviews before buying? AOTD: All of these are new to me except for Good Girl Complex which I read recently. I peeked at the rating for some of these but mostly just went with the feels. #bookstagram #bookhaul📚 #birthday #romancereader #romancebookstagram #spicybookstagram #ellekennedy #bookrecs #bookreviews #hockeyromancebooks by @ebc_readsmut

💖BOOK REVIEW💖 Sarah said IM BRINGING THE CHAOS 👏🏼 Absolutely love the multiple POVs! We’re really getting to know the inner workings of the main characters now & honey they are not all who we thought they were. Except Nesta, bc she is that bitch & I won’t hear any nonsense against her. Her story arc is incredible. First off, I went into this knowing it would be a setup for the much larger portions of the story SJM said it’s part of. So in my head, this part 6 is like reading 20% of the actual giant book she intended on writing. I feel like that’s really important to note for this book. It will be messy, it will be full of chaos & unfinished plot lines bc it’s a SETUP. & I’m totally loving it! I feel like this really speaks again to the way love & grief can shape everyone differently. It can affect the way we see ourselves, the way we approach other people & how we navigate different seasons of our life. This really shows with Nesta, Elaine, Az, Feyre & Rhys. Feyre and Rhys being in their parent era 👏🏼 I love that this felt like a really true representation of parenthood & I feel so seen! We never get fantasies with women being mothers throughout the story, it’s always at the end. Anyone having ick over breast milk and feeding, SHAME ON YOU! Imagine having a baby, running on little to no sleep, dealing with your body physically dictating what you can do and when bc of the feeding, and having to run an entire province. Feyre is a milky goddess and I’m here for it 👏🏼 And yall thought Rhys was a menace before…. That man will do WHATEVER is necessary to keep his family safe. & now he’s got Nesta side by side 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 I love that this book makes you see fave characters in a real and raw look that makes you go OH… they have flaws, they’re not perfect & that’s so true to real life. CASSIAN IM LOOKING AT YOU. I could tell this was a setup for the march larger story and I’m so excited for the journey Sarah is about to take us on. #ACOTAR #ROMANTASY #SJM #BOOKREVIEW by @ebc_readsmut
🎃 OCTOBER READING WRAP UP 🎃 📖 6 books via KU 🎧 19 Audiobooks via Hoopla & Audible New book in the Cowboy Colony series by Ursa Dax was one of my October favorites! 💖 Jumped back into Omegaverse with this cute one by Hallie Grace, i loved all of the MMCs in that! Dark, stalker romance from Lo Gold with some delicious mm & mmf scenes! 🤯 Had my brain scrambled by J. De Saint reading Bro Doll! Which was almost my absolute fave book of the month. 💖 Got to go back to my happy place in ACOSH just to have my heart crushed. But it was worth the pain and i cant wait for the next one in Jan! 🔥😭 Obvi had to also go back to Navarre for the release of Threshing Day. I absolutely love the Graphic Audios! Xaden’s voice is 😍😍 and i ended up doing a whole reread & then listening tk the first book twice bc i just couldn’t let go & sit with the heartbreak Onyx Storm left me with. This series always sends me into a spiral after rereading. Tried a new series the Bloodwing Academy and it eas pretty good! I still have to finish the last book now that it’s out. 🖤Another reread with Punk 57 bc i love these characters and the story even more ❤️‍🔥Brutal Obsession was deliciously dark. Im a sucker for bully romance 🐍 The Poisoner was so much darker & more gruesome than i expected it to be but I went in blind. 🤣 It was an interesting listen 🤤 Painted Scars was such a fun easy listen and brought me back to mafia romance which i haven’t read in a while! Please ignore the extra heart, I’m being lazy and don’t feel like deleting all of this to fix that 😅😭 by @ebc_readsmut
🚨BOOK REVIEW🚨 Bro Doll by @j.desaint_author 📖 339 pages on KU Is this my new fave read of the year?! It just might be! Sometimes a book comes along, and you pick it up bc the cover is cute or whatever! Then, you read the synopsis and think: okay this sounds freaky and totally will just be a non serious f***k fest. And then you read that book and not only is it a holy grail of smut but it also changes you on the inside; rewiring your brain chemistry and short circuiting your neurons. THIS IS THAT BOOK. ❤️‍🔥💖 She is filthy & she is gloriously unapologetic (the book & the doll!) 5+🌟 5 🌶️ 🤯 🍆 😳😅🫠🤣🤯🚨🚨💖💖💚🔥🥹🥹😍😍 🤯 I’ve read mm & I’ve read poly & books with just group stuff. But I’ve never read anything like this. This is completely unique. It honestly felt like I was ingesting a drug bc I was amped up the entire read; the smut, the dynamic of the characters, the humor, the feels, everything was firing on all cylinders! 😭 I immediately want to listen to this as an audiobook! It doesn’t exist (yet?) can we get an audiobook of this please?! 💖 I was wholly surprised to fall in love with these characters but it happened. Every one of the dude bros in the house has my love and I’m not picking faves. Though Grant is absolutely a savage and king of degradation dirty talk! That man is a monster. But they all have their quirks & their roles and I adore all of them! I loved the ending, the sweet moments we got of him kind of coming full circle (almost literally 🤣) & Walker, you big muscley puppy. 😍😍 Reid was my drug the moment he entered the page. Finn is absolutely an inside thoughts are absolutely going to become outside thoughts guy. And Miles, was the most mysterious to me, a complete conundrum. 🤣 The humor in this is perfection! They say some of the wildest shit & it absolutely felt like I was a fly on the wall in a bro house! I will absolutely be going back and reading the other standalones in this kinky alphabet series! 👏🏼👏🏼 by @ebc_readsmut
💚BOOK MAIL💚 Midnight Message by Avina St. Graves @probablysmut Edition 💚Dark Romance 💚Mutual Stalking 💚Somno 💚He lays clothes out for her to steal 💚Cameras EVERYWHERE This is a dark romcom that is sure to tickle anyone’s fancy! And by anyone I mean my fellow book goblins that love unhinged love, stalking, an all in MMC even though he knows she’s a little crazy, banter & dark humor. I have a whole review post about this book on my profile as I have already read it! So I was super excited when Probably Smut announced it as one of their books of the month. 😍 ❓QOTD: What’s a trope you love to see in your dark romance books? #probablysmutbookclub #specialeditionbook #darkromancereads by @ebc_readsmut
🥴SEPTEMBER READING WRAP UP🥴 ❓QOTD: Name a book character you would have or will be dressing up as this halloween! OR name a book whose setting you would absolutely love living in! Well, I guess it’s better than last month 🤣 I swear this month is going to be better. I’m already ahead of last month! I’m hoping to keep the momentum rolling. 📖 Even though it was my one and only book, Allison’s adventures in Underland was worth it! If you haven’t seen my post about it go check it out! & true to my word I did immediately start the second book. 🎧 I started Cinnamon bun bookstore in August I think…it’s really cute and I love the small town setting, the humor & the narration. However, I fell off half way through because I started craving something fantasy with all the fourth wing talk and I just haven’t picked it back up again. I did read the first book in this series and really enjoyed it! So I do recommend this series for a cute, fall, contemporary read! #readingtracker #septemberwrapup #romancebookrecs by @ebc_readsmut
💖BOOK MAIL🎪 The prettiest editions from @fatedarcanabookbox 😍 If anyone could slay to Britney Spears it would be my girl Meg! 👑 & don’t even get me started on Riff and Raff! Are you kidding me?! 🤤🥵 ➡️ Swipe for the shelf tour! @aidenpierceromance take over! I absolutely adore this series & if you haven’t picked up a book by this author WHAT ARE YOH WAITING FOR?! If you love unhinged, macabre, creepy sexy vibes literally pick up any book by her! ❓QOTD: What’s your favorite Halloween or fall movie? AOTD: I love Trick r Treat for a classic horror/creepy Halloween vibe! But with my kids we love to watch Harry Potter & Halloween Town 🎃 #specialeditionbooks #sprayededges #paranormalromance by @ebc_readsmut
🫖MINI REVIEW🫖 📚 Harem of Hearts series by @authorcmstunich 📖 Kindle Edition 152 pages “We’re all mad for you here” 🫠 This was so trippy! I was immediately sucked in & once I finished I downloaded book 2 right away. This is a 3 book series but they are pretty short & the adventure is wild! I love the dark twist on what is already considered a very unusual and twisted read. There will be blood, drugs, sex, and murder, so check your CWs friends! The poems and riddles are creative and delightfully twisted! This book feels like a puzzle of sorts and I absolutely love that! It’s an RH but it’s not completely obvious who will end up being in the group so that added another level of mystery to this tale of fate & unknowns. There’s also this aspect of whether or not you can really believe it’s happening or is it all in her head? As our FMC has some major trauma and healing scars, it’s left me wondering whether or not she’s a reliable narrator, and if this is all a very wild hallucination she’s having as a result of her spiraling life. On to book 2! 👏🏼👏🏼 ❓QOTD: Do you have any autumn themed books in your TBR for this month? Drop a title! by @ebc_readsmut
🤷🏼‍♀️AUGUST READING WRAP UP🤷🏼‍♀️ OOPS! 😬 It’s been a while! Not much to show for August in the ways of reading. I started Beaches and Bites at the end of July with the hope to finish in August but it just didn’t happen. 🎧 I also got half way through my relisten to A Court of Frost and Starlight by SJM but also put that down after not being able to settle myself. 🎉However, I do have news to share! On August 26th our baby #3 made an exciting & surprising entrance into the world! He decided to come a few days early & even though I was prepared I didn’t realize how fast he was coming! We just barely made it to the hospital before baby made his appearance 😅 Our handsome peanut, Leo Christopher, is healthy & strong & gets the feature on Augusts wrap up 🤣 Now that he’s here and we’re adjusting to being outnumbered by children in our home I hope to get back to reading soon! 📖 I started listening to the audiobook for The Cinnamon Bun Book Store by Laurie Gilmore and it’s been the perfect cozy read for me to jump back in! Happy reading! 💖 ❓Who else is ready for sweater weather?! by @ebc_readsmut
